That night, Victoria couldn't sleep. She didn't know how her finger had ended up somewhere else. She assumed it was because of being alone with that man. But now, how could she face Draco? The man was so cold and looked at her as if she didn't exist. She felt like a virtual being in front of him.

While she was racking her brains, she fell into the arms of Morpheus and woke up the next day, but still with a moral hangover from her blunder.

Victoria went to the university. She had to turn in some assignments and was very happy to have finished them over the weekend. She was very methodical.

Emily saw her arrive and ran towards her excitedly. On campus, everyone was talking about the big board meeting, and she was excited. She knows that the rector seemed to like her friend and was sure he would defend her.

"Vicky, they're in the middle of a meeting. That damn Milenka is in there. I'm sure she's trying to get you expelled. I don't understand how she's the president of the faculty's internal center. Money really does move mountains," Emily said with a frown. She was sure that viper wanted to hurt her dear friend, and all because of...

While they were talking, a handsome blond man with blue eyes approached with a big smile. Luis Melis greeted Victoria enthusiastically. Since he had seen her, he thought she was a beautiful girl, and she wasn't like the other girls. She had her feet on the ground and was truly outstanding in every way.

"Hi Vicky, I wanted to know if you wanted to study for the exam this Friday," he said with a smile while Emily rolled her eyes. He was the worst nightmare for her friend.

"Luis, I'm so sorry, but I can't. I really have to work. I'll study at home," she said while the young man laughed.

"Vicky, don't worry. You can stay at my apartment while we study. I won't bite you. Besides, I already told you that if you need help I can help you. You don't have to work at that lousy restaurant," he said confidently. He had already offered all kinds of help to that doll, but still, she didn't help him at all.

Emily got annoyed by the conversation. She didn't like that boy at all.

"Luis, please stay away from my friend. It's your fault she's in trouble. That crazy Milenka hates her because you're drooling over Victoria. Just go away," Emily said as she looked at Luis reproachfully.

"Emily, I don't know why you hate me. Milenka and I were dating a long time ago, before Vicky arrived we had already broken up. I don't understand this obsession, although I've already told her several times she doesn't listen to me. I've asked her to leave my Vicky alone, but she's crazy," said the young man shrugging his shoulders, not knowing what else to say about it. But Emily wouldn't leave the subject alone.

"Luis, don't be shameless. You were seen leaving a hotel with Milenka a week ago. That's why she's still obsessed with you. You're giving her hope. That's why my friend has never looked at you," said the little girl, annoyed by the situation. Victoria is about to lose her scholarship because of that horny fool.

Luis turned pale. Sometimes he thought Emily worked for the FBI. She always caught him at something. But the truth was that Emily had a police officer cousin whom she sometimes accompanied, and she had seen him leaving hotels with Milenka and other women. However, that wretch was playing the saint with her friend.

"Emily, don't be so harsh. You really don't know how hard it is for me to get rid of her. And we didn't do anything. She threatened to kill herself if I wasn't with her in that place. I've already talked to her parents about her attitude." Luis looked at Victoria to justify himself.

"Vicky, sweetheart, it’s not what you think. I really don’t have any relationship with Milenka anymore. Maybe she’ll come to her senses if you give me a chance. Just don’t believe those rumors," Luis said with a sad look. But Victoria stared at him intently, not believing a word he said. She could sense what that guy wanted, and he wanted it all. He wanted to date her, but whenever he felt like it, he’d mess around with Milenka or one of his ex-girlfriends.

"Luis, just stay away. I don’t want any more trouble with your girlfriend. I’m really in deep trouble because of that girl."Vicky said coldly, no longer tolerating this situation.

"Vicky, sweetheart, Milenka isn’t my girlfriend. The one I want is…" But before he could finish, a voice interrupted them.

"Miss Victoria Levin, you are being asked to attend the board meeting. Please come with me," said the rector's secretary, who had been looking for her for quite some time.

Victoria turned pale. She really felt like she was in trouble. Draco came to mind. He surely didn't want to get involved with her and her multiple problems. She understood. Anyway, her sister had embarrassed him tremendously, not to mention the cost of the drop in shares every time those powerful families have media problems.

With a long sigh, Victoria headed for the rector's office, ignoring Luis, who was shaking his head in anguish. He really liked Victoria, but as long as she didn't accept him, he didn't want to leave his life as the most handsome athlete in college.

When Victoria was at the door, she took a deep breath. She had to be brave and face whatever was going to happen. She had no choice. Then...

"Miss Victoria, please have a seat. I was just telling the university board about the projects you have been collaborating on at my company," said the tall, handsome man.

There were long faces, other faces of admiration, jealousy, fury, among others, but there was one face of joy, which was the rector's. He couldn't believe that Draco Lennox himself was there advocating for the helpless Victoria Levin.

Milenka was about to faint with rage. The teacher who had been failing her on purpose was scared. He didn't know what he was going to do. But the rest were happy that one of their students had Lennox as a sponsor. It was already a gain in prestige and power.
