ch 3 END OF OUR FRIENDSHIP

As she entered, all eyes were on her. But her eyes fell on simran who was signaling her that she came in a wrong time. But our Adira is bad at understanding the signals. She looked at her with a "What" expression.

The director cleared his throat as if he is saying that he is here. Adira then awkwardly said hello, good morning everyone. The director replied you are late Dr. Adira. "Ahhhh I was stucked in a traffic, as you know sir the traffic of Mumbai is......" said adira embarrassingly. who won't be embarrassed talking to their boss, when they are clearly late and missed everything important done till now. "I know, you may have a seat Dr." said the director cutting adira in the middle. Adira sat in her seat near simran who had reserved the seat for her bestie.

"have I missed anything important." asked adira whispering to simran.

"not yet but you were about to, sir was saying that some of us need to go to London as our new branch has opened there, like transfer there, you know..." Replied simran, whispering to adira.

"ahmmm,"---- director

instantly simran and adira straightened there back focused.

"As I was saying some of you may be transfer to our new branch in London. I give you the opportunity to choose whether you guys want to go or not. You can give your name to me and I will transfer you there. It will be very nice if you transfer though."

The meeting ended.

adira and simran went to grab some coffee before starting their routine.

adira-- "don't you think we should apply to go there. I mean it will be fun and you know naaa. I always wanted to go to abroad and settle there. so I am thinking about applying, why don't you join me too. "

simran-- hmm, I was thinking of applying too. you know how much I want to go to London and settle there. so we are going right.

yess ofcc replied adira.

they both went to the director's office to give their names to go to London.

the director told them that they had to leave for London day after tomorrow.

they were shocked that it was too early but still they can't do nothing about it.

the girls did their duty and adira returned home as she had only morning shift while simran had afternoon shift too.

adira went to the park to freshen up her mind from all the chaos that happened this week.

But her luck today isn't that good.

she saw her ex fiancée and her ex friend.

They were also kinda shocked to see her they were approaching her, well maybe to apologize and all, who knows. adira knew that they were approaching her, so she turned her back and was about to leave when Syria called out her name and approached her. she then held adira's hand and said "look, adira I am really sorry for all those that happened, I am really ashamed of what I did, but try to understand I.... I don't know when I started to like him and love him and he also felt the same way I did." she was sobbing when saying those things to adira.

" yes she knew that you won't be happy to know these and she even tried to distant herself from me. It was me who tried to make her understand that we love each other and we shouldn't be afraid and tell this to you." said rahul adira's ex fiancée while holding Syria hand and calming her down.

adira was damn tired of all this. she said to them it's okay, do whatever you want to, please don't disturb me. I am already tired of this shit.

Syria then spoke I am sorry, I hope you forgive me. you will always be my best friend who stayed with me whenever I needed a shoulder to cry on. you are the best thing that could happen to me before rahul. you know I found my Mr. perfect. I am soryyy. my heart couldn't resist my feelings over rahul. rahul hold her shoulder and made her calm down. Adira felt somehow sad yet happy, happy for her friend that she found her Mr. perfect but that couldn't stop her from hating them. she didn't know what to do whether to forgive them without keeping her self respect. adira, she being a people pleaser said I forgive you but our friendship ends here Syria. I know you didn't mean to do this all but what happened has happened and I can never face you again after all this. I wish you happiness and a great life ahead but I can't just accept the fact that you cheated on me with my, my fiancée. I forgive you for that but my heart aches everytime I see you guys together. I am sorry but I hope in future we never ever meet again or bump into each other......

saying this she left from there.

Syria who stood there had tears in her eyes. she lost her closest friend, all this years friendship and all is over. she knew that their friendship will be over after what she did but still she couldn't stop her tears she loved someone whom she shouldn't. she knew that. but still she was happy that she will die in peace that her friend has forgiven her for her sin.
