Many girls gave rose to Imran. Some were bold enough to write their names, while others gave it secretly. Nonetheless Imran thanked every girl while receiving the roses each time. Even Shanaya received a lot of roses. She also flirted with each boy who gave her a rose, thinking that Imran would get jealous. But it had no effect on Imran.

At the end Imran became the ' Mr Popular ' . A girl from 2nd year named Seher, who was really pretty and looked quite cute and docile in her white tank top and skirt won the maximum number of roses and was crowned ' Ms Popular ' . She looked very beautiful just like a pure and innocent angel.

Imran went to propose a dance to her. They both danced very gracefully together. The crowd was cheering for them. Some even said that they looked really great together, like a match made in heaven.

Shanaya strode off from the function hall angrily. ' What's so good about her, why did he proposed dance to her, there was no obligation for them to dance together, is she trying to snatch him from me. That's impossible. Imran belongs to me and only me' thought Shanaya.

Pooja came running behind her. She caught upto Shanaya and asked " why did you run like that, what happened? Anything wrong? " Shanaya just looked at her and Pooja understood what was wrong with her. She tried to console Shanaya, but Shanaya was very upset.

" Why don't you propose to Imran? " questioned Pooja. " What?" exclaimed Shanaya. " Are you out of your mind. I am a girl, it will not be good for me if I run behind a boy. He is supposed to come behind me" said Shanaya angrily. " Are you going to let someone else have him. You know he is not only handsome but also rich. Many girls wants to be his girlfriend. You saw how many gave him roses. If you waste your time someone else might try their luck and what will you do of your Pride and image then " explained Pooja. "And what were you doing flirting with each boy who gave you a rose aren't you acting stupid, that too in front of your crush?" questioned Pooja.

" Imran was also flirting with each girl who gave him a rose. Even if the girl had hidden her identity he still said something sweet about her. I just was getting back at him. I have no interest in other boys." said Shanaya.

" So was he affected? no na. Then why do you think he will come running behind you" said Pooja.

Shanaya started thinking deep. Seeing her best friend like this Pooja felt bad. Shanaya is really popular among boys. Since she joined this college there were always boys flocking her. She had whom she liked. This was the first time she had a crush on someone, but he had not taken the initiative to propose to her still. Though Imran is very sweet to her, but he behaves in the same way with every girl on the campus. He is too sweet, so every girl is flocking around him all the time as if mosquitoes flocking over sweets.

" I will still advice you to take the initiative now rather than regretting later " said Pooja.

Shanaya understood. She thought that "it's right, I should do what I can to get what I want now. Rather than regretting not doing anything later. Anyways after I became his girlfriend who will care who proposed who. All will just know that he is mine ' . " Thanks Pooja. You are my best friend. I don't know what I would have done without you" thanked Shanaya and hugged her tightly.

'I am not going to wait anymore. I am going to make him mine . ' thought Shanaya.
