Episode 3

On the next day, Imran completed his daily morning routine as usual with all the exercises. Then he got ready and went to college. He was to join the college OPD today. He reached college at 1 pm, but he was supposed to reach by 9 am. In the morning he had to make a detour to the commissioner of police office, due to which he got late. When he allighted from his bike many of the girls were stairing at him, ' as usual' thought Imran with a smirk. He made his way directly to the OPD. There were 5 OPDs in the college premises side by side.

There were many interns some were roaming about, some were chit chatting inside the OPD, some were busy with their mobile phones.

On seeing such a scenario Imran was shocked. ' What is going on over here. It don't look like a hospital, rather a cafe where everyone is busy doing whatever they feel like and no one looked bothered. He used to think doctors are always so busy that they don't even have time to eat, looking at this scenario he thought he was so wrong.' he thought.

When Imran entered the OPD there were 5 students sitting in the 1st OPD. One of them was Shanaya the girl he met in the morning yesterday.

" Hi Shanaya" said Imran. " Oh hi Imran" said Shanaya. "Guys meet Imran he is a new transfer intern of our college." said Shanaya to her friends who were sitting with her in the OPD. Every one greeted Imran.

one was a lean and tall boy with fair complexion quite good looking but not as much as Imran, his name was Vivek. One of them looked like your typical nerd his name was Gaurav. One of the girl was wearing pink t shirt and black pants looked like Shanaya with all the make up on she was Pooja , Shanaya's best friend who was sitting beside Shanaya. Last was a girl who looked quite simple with sandy complexion, her name was Shamli.

"Hi everyone" greeted Imran.

Imran was very curious about the state that the OPD was in and he was unable to believe that his thinking about doctors was so wrong, so he could not stop himself asking about it. Gaurav laughed upon hearing him. Imran got more confused.

" Which college did you completed your studies from Imran" asked Gaurav laughing slightly. " yyy medical college" replied Imran.

"So are the doctors so much busy in that college as you mentioned " inquired Shamli slightly confused. "Yeah " replied Imran, not knowing what else to say. "Is it always like this here, but I have heard this is the 2nd best college, how can there be no patients " inquired Imran. " it's not like this always, there are days when particular teachers sit in the OPDs. So some of them have more patients while others have less, moreover today is Friday and it's already 1 in the afternoon, it is usually free on Friday as not much of them come to the OPD. The doctor Mrs Pramila who attend Friday OPD is on maternity leave right now. " explained Shanaya. " Anyways even if the OPD is full as happens mostly on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday when Dr Sachin, Dr bhosale and Dr Joshi are sitting in the OPD, still it's not that busy that we don't have time to eat " said Vivek. " when you had so many patients and all in your previous college why did you come here for internship? usually interns from those colleges come here who have less exposure " asked Gaurav. " Oh I just got bored looking at all the same faces so I thought of going somewhere else to meet new beauties " replied Imran and winked at the girls. Everyone started laughing except Shamli who did not like this reply.

Shanaya blushed thinking how cute Imran looked and she thought he was trying to flirt with her.

On the other hand Aisha was attending the Nerul OPD with Zunehra and Myra. The attending Dr there was Dr Mehta who was also the HOD of Surgery department. Aisha's day was very hectic. There were lots of patients. Aisha was very much busy the whole day.

As the duty hours were over they made their way to college to mark their attendance. "What a silly rule it is to go to college after attending out OPDs " complained zunehra. " Yes actually we will reach college by 4 pm and then college ends at 4: 30 just for half an hour we need to travel all the way to Kharghar " complained Aisha. "Exactly my point, why can't we go back home after completing our OPD duties " said Myra. But they can't do anything even if they were tiered they have to go back to college to mark their attendance otherwise at the end they may not get their certificate on the basis of low attendance even if they did went to out OPDs.

The girls caught panvel train to reach the college. On reaching the college they went directly to mark their attendance. Faizan, Shilpa and Jai were their marking their attendance. They had there posting in Vashi OPD. " You all are posted in Nerul OPD right" inquired Shilpa. " Yes" replied Zunehra. " How was your day at Nerul OPD " inquired Jai. They then started talking about their day with each other while Aisha walked away from there not intending to talk with boys.
