episode 5

**CHAPTER 5

XIAN’S POV**

I was in my studio with Du Yu when my dad came and said someone wanted to meet me. “Am Julian”, the man said, “it’s a pleasure to meet you Xian you’re as beautiful as the first day I saw you”

“We have met before?” I asked him and he said he was present at the party.

“Well, I will leave you two to talk so you get to know each other, Julian make yourself at home Du Yu serve them some tea and snacks” after saying this my dad left. It was just me and Julian now.

Julian asked me a lot of questions, at first I was hesitant to answer but then eventually I responded. Surprisingly the conversation was going on great.

I enjoyed myself he was giving out a familiar feeling plus all his questions were about my brother Shang.

Later in the evening we said our goodbyes, my dad came later to ask what my thoughts were about Julian I had non to say about him apart from he was good company.

Two weeks later Luo came to visit me while we were in my studio talking, Julian came to visit as well and brought me snacks and a chocolate flavored smooth.

Remember am blind but I do feel this room is so tense at the moment and the air became heavy to breath in order to break the ice I asked Audrey to come and serve some tea.

The tea was served but the tense atmosphere could be felt even in the taste of the tea, I then spoke to Julian, “Julian, how nice of you to visit what brings you here?”

“I was in the area, so I decide to come visit I enjoyed our chat the other time so I was wondering if we can continue were we left off.

“So Mr Luis comes here often?” Asked Luo

“Nope he is a family friend he came once only”

“Really…..” luo asked like he did not believe what I just said to him.

“Why do you have to explain to him, who is he?” asked Julian, I could sense tension between the two but I did not know why they were talking to each other like that.

“Uhhhh he is……………..” before I could finish Luo cut me and said. “Am his friend very close friend what of you?”

“Am his future mate” answered Julian

“What?! I screamed “mate?”

The room went silent just then I heard Ping Ling voice. “Well congrates little brother so you’re betrothed to Julian”. I could not believe what I just heard Julian, me and me, Julian, marriage WTF.

Am getting married! Why have I never heard of this before, why hasn’t anyone asked me if I want to get married, why must I marry someone who I just met? Julian is nice but come on arranged marriage. Ping Ling then announced my sister’s arrival in my room.

“Little brother, how are you feeling?”

“Good”

“Oh you’re getting married”

“You knew about this?” I asked her

“Yes, we discussed this the entire family and am also getting married to….” Before she could finish I cut her and asked “Who?”

“Luo”, she screamed

“L…ou….Luo?”

“Yes Luo” she responded happily. “He’s my future husband, as an alpha am very comfortable with him around and am sure he’ll love to marry me as been an alpha am most privilege. Did you know his family only marries Alphas since a long time ago?

“Oh..”

“Yes, you don’t look happy considering you’re lucky marrying Julian, you’re blind and an omega It’s really an honor so please do not waste such an opportunity little one”

She gave me a kissed on my forehead and she left. I don’t hate Julian he’s sweet and funny but I have never thought of him in that context. What am I going to do about this?

I remember the day dad introduced him to me. I knew it was abit fishy because dad has never introduced anyone to me privately unless during parties or gatherings. What should I do?
