CHAPTER 1

Xians’S POV

Born blind and an only omega in a family of two betas and two alphas can be perceived to be a bad omen for some but for me it was a good one.

Been blind didn’t stop my parents from teaching me how to read or write. When I was 7years old my brother’s classmate Du Yu taught me how to mud and after that I fell in love with it.

I loved to mud more than anything because if I mud I felt like I could see just by touching my creation. My senses of touch, and smell where excellent so most of the time I knew things through smelling and touching.

At the age of 10, I was more attached to Du Yu than my parents so Du Yu became my full time tutor and attendant. Even though he was only 18years at the time he was an excellent care taker.

I was not allowed to go outside the home either alone or with anybody. Every day after morning lessons, my day was spent in my studio where I could mud or walk within the mansion premises whilst waiting for my siblings to come back from school and tell me how their day was.

On my 18th birthday my dad arranged a private dinner party, so that he could formally introduce me to his friends and some of our relatives I had never met before. It was the first time I ever had something close to a birthday party, Du Yu was more excited than I was because every time a party was held at our mansion he and I were not allowed to be in attendance.

At around 5pm, Du Yu was helping me dress up, I spent my entire 18years in the mansion I knew each and every corner of it. When I was done preparing I excused myself and decided to take a quick walk to my studio to refresh my mind.

Upon arriving, I heard footsteps, “Whose there?” I asked

They was no response but the sound of footsteps were nearing where I was standing. In an attempt to get away, I fell on the ground and a smooth soft hand grabbed my shoulder and a gentle voice asked me.

“Are you okay?”

I could tell from the voice that it was a man. I replied that I was okay and the man pulled me up and carried me princess style. I was too shocked to say anything because I had never spoken to anyone outside the mansion apart from the mansion workers and my family.

The moment he carried me I could feel his breath on my face as I hid my face in his firm broad shoulders. He gave out a familiar feeling similar to that of Du Yu.

“What’s your name and what were you doing there?” he asked.

“A…a…am Xian”, I responded.

“Xian, are you a guest at this party?”

“Not really”

“Oh would you like to ditch the party and come with me to the garden?”

I agreed without resistance…! That surprised me because this man, it’s the first time am meeting him and I do not even know his name. Why am I like this towards him?

The cool breeze on the outside was beautiful, so was the distance music that could be heard from the dining hall. He was quiet until we reach the garden and asked me to sit down.

“What were you doing alone in that part of the mansion?” he asked

“I should be asking you that, after all I live here”, I responded

“You do?”

“Yes I do, and that part of the mansion is where my studio is located”.

“Studio?”

“Yes, studio”.

“I would love to see it, if you do not mind?”

Why is it that this person is so free with me like he already knows me, and now he wants to see my studio? I should ask Du Yu first if it’s fine to let a stranger in my studio and then again it is my studio I decide who is allowed.

When I was about to responded to his request, someone called out to me and it was my brother Shang.

“Xian what are you doing here and where the hell is Du Yu? You cannot be walking outside alone in the cold” said Shang.

“Am not alone am with this man, I just met him on my way to the studio”, I said

“Shang, good to see you have not changed at all still petite and the cheeks are still pink”, said the man next to me.

“Was that supposed to be funny Luo”, said Shang.

“Luo?” I asked

“Yes, this fine gentleman is Luo, he was my junior in high school and now our business associate”.

“In high school but not anymore, now am a senior in the business world right?” asked Luo.

“Yeah yeah you are, Xian let’s go inside”.

“Who’s Xian to you and where are you taking him?”

“Luo look at him closely doesn’t he look familiar?” asked Shang.

“What no way is this little piggy?” Luo asked.

“Yes, am surprised you did not recognize him taking into account that he was so fond of you among all my juniors”, said Shang.

That explains why I followed him blindly, am glad I got to know who he really is. I hope we can talk more now that I know he is no stranger to me or my family. Just when I was about to ask Luo something my brother said that my presences was needed after all it was my party.

“Am sorry, I did not come with any present but next time I visit will do so. So can I come and visit you Xian?” asked Luo.

“Brother can he come?”

“Uhhh well, if it is okay with you” Shang said while patting my back.

“It’s alright you can come visit me” I said.

“Very well see you next time and am leaving right now, the party is still boring plus I met the birthday boy already and happy birthday little Piggy”, said Luo.

After saying that he left and my brother and I proceeded to the dining hall.

Around 9pm the party was almost over and Audrey took me back to my room.

I was so nervous my heart was pounding so fast just by the thought of Luo’s voice and that night I couldn’t sleep. I was thinking of his voice and how is touch felt like on my skin as I caressed myself thinking of how it would be if it was him touching me.

Do not get me wrong these are not lustful feelings but I just cannot describe them right now. Oh brother I still have a long way to go don’t i?
