The Never Ending Journey

They both sat in the car and Austin stared to drive. There was an awkward silence so Austin thought of breaking that silence and he said “So I should tell you our this journey is to nowhere when I left my house I never thought I’m going to find someone after so long and I just wanted to wander around this world but I found you. You are mute but you can hear what I’m sa..... ahhhh” and car bumped into a bus parked or maybe left on the road. “ahhhh will you please focus on driving I have no intention to die ok I came with you because I did not want to live alone not because I want to die early.” Said the girl. “You can speak?” Austin was shocked.

“Yes or what do you think my ghost was speaking all this.”

“Oh then why you were behaving like a mute for so long?”

“Because I do not wanted to talk to strangers”

“(Scoffs)  what! Are you dumb or what there is no one else alive on this planet other than us and you are saying you do not want to talk to strangers, good for you girl.”

“I have a name”

“Well you have not told me your name yet missy”

“Oh like you told me your name right!”

“Behave I’m older than you anyway I’m Austin nice to meet you missy”

I’m Christabel. Nice to meet you too Austin.

“So where would you like to go”

“Anywhere you will go, after my family’s death I have no expectations left” (a little sad)

“Do not be sad from now on you are my family and I am yours we will live with each other and die with each other”

(Looked at him and smiled) “Hello family”

“Ok now when I have you let’s find a good house and live there with each other taking care of each other”

You can say that it was the best time of their life they both found a family. And like this they started to live with each

other. Usually they stay at any luxurious villa or hotel and when they get bored they would travel around doing anything they want. They were happy with each other. Austin was not very old but for Austin Christabel like a kid he wants to take care of. He felt like Christabel was his responsibility and for Christabel, Austin was her light in the dark. The light that lit up her dark world.

Finding someone like this is like a blessing of god. When now in 2022 here earth is lively with many people around you but you still want to stay alone and you do not want to talk to someone spare sometime for the person who is closest to you and care for you the most.
