A Little Hope

When he was eating chips happily and enjoying his life something happened, something that made him smile, something that actually made him happy. Someone stabbed his leg with a knife and was about to stab his heart but he grabbed those hands and threw the knife away. What can make the last man one the earth happier other than founding one more human alive. But still it looks like this human is a little dangerous.  After a little fight and a few injuries both of the humans were tired and the other person realised that Austin is not trying to harm him/her.

Now they both were sitting on the couch in the dark without speaking anything. This person didn’t say any word from starting. So Austin thought that the first alive person he found is a mute because when they were having their little fight there were sounds of struggling but not even a word other than that. He was a little sad but at least now he had someone whom he can live with. After cleaning blood from his injuries they both slept.

Next morning when Austin woke up he saw a beautiful face. A little girl around 9 years was sleeping there. It was her she stabbed Austin this little girl. But from where did she got so much courage? And how is she living here alone? Maybe someone from his family is still alive? Many questions came into Austin’s mind he thought of many possibilities he looked around the house when the girl was still sleeping. There was no one. So he took out some raw food from his bag and started to make breakfast for both himself and that little girl.

When he was cooking that girl woke up, followed the smell and went to the kitchen and saw him cooking food. Austin looked at her and said “oh you woke up have some breakfast.” The girl nodded and when both of them were having breakfast he asked “is there anyone else who is alive in your family?” She nodded her head in no. Again he asked “are you living here all by yourself?” she looked here and there and again nodded in yes. “What a pity! You are mute but worry not now I’m here with you I’m also alone would you like to go with me? This time she did not nodded her head.

She stood up and went to her room. While he was thinking did he said something wrong?

Finally found someone alive was actually thrilling but life was totally complicated at this point he was confused but happy, thinking if he should leave or wait for that girl to come back in living room or follow her upstairs. After some time that girl came back with a bag, he was looking down while sitting on the couch, so she walked stomping her feet on the stairs to make him notice her. And yes he noticed her and her bag and said “oh so you are coming with me!” She nodded and left the house with her bag and he followed her.

They both sat in the car.....
