Hi, my name is James O'Connell.
I am the beta of the Blood Moon pack. I am 30 years old, and I have known Estef since we were 5. My father was the beta of the Blood Moon pack when the alpha was Mr. Jackson Evans and the Luna, Natalia Evans.
My father was the destined beta, but when Alpha Jackson took charge, another wolf came forward to fight him for the position. My father defeated him in combat, and the other wolf had to live with defeat.

When we got home, and after training, my father came to get me and told me that if I wanted to go with him to the alpha's house, I was welcome. I wanted to know if Estefan had already spoken to Sofia. When we arrived, my dad told me:
Dad: Son, I'm going to be a while with the alpha. Why don't you go find your friend?
James: Yes, Dad. Let me know when you leave.
I ran to my friend's room, and when I was about to enter, I overheard a conversation that I wish I hadn't gone to that house for in the first place.
Sofia: I love you. Choose me as your Luna, and I'll reject my mate to be with you.
Estefan: Sofia, I don't love you, and you're not my mate. I won't make you my Luna. What you and I had was sex, and you agreed to it. He pulled her out of the room without realizing I was there, and when I looked up, I saw her standing in front of me. She was wearing a nearly translucent lace nightgown. She was beautiful. Her skin made me want to touch her. Her scent had me delirious with desire. I wanted to possess her, and seeing her in that outfit didn't make things any easier for me, but then I remembered something: she had come to see my friend wearing that. It was obvious what she had come for, and she hadn't come to say goodbye. So, with a broken heart, I said:
