Chapter 2

So Kathy and I got to the Gala on time and I was still wondering why she got me a dildo as a present. The thing is I just won’t feel comfortable using it. The thought of having it inside me just makes me think twice. Kathy called me and pulled me out of my trance.

“Merc! Hello, where are you? Do not tell me you are still thinking about that dildo.”

“Ok, I won’t tell you,” I said just so I could save myself a lecture from her.

So we got into the building and I was immensely in love with the place. The décor was spot on, everything looked in place. It was a truly amazing sight. Just then I met with my employees and had a chat with them got to secure a deal. I know right, it is at events like this that we get the most publicity. Just when I went looking for Kathy I found her with Mr. MANOVER! They were making out. For the love of God they just met tonight. She came over and told me that she will meet me at home. I was so mad at her. One thing I hate about Kathy is that most of the time when we go out she always leaves me behind for a one-night stand. I know right, as much as crazy as it sounds she is content with her life and I love her for that. A few moments that night she told me she was leaving. I bid her farewell and went to the open bar. I got to socialize with the other business owners everything went well until I

met this other guy. We kinda locked our eyes for like 30 seconds I think. He came over to me and introduced himself to me his name was Christian.

One thing I knew for certain was that I had never seen him before and damn the guy looked good for my liking. I had never felt that type of attraction before. He got me a drink and we drank ourselves too much. We had a great time. Just as I got up he grabbed my arm and kissed me. I was surprised at first but I let him dominate my tongue then the kiss deepened, we somehow got to a room and we made love.

NEXT MORNING………………….

I woke up in an unfamiliar room and I felt a heavy thing against my body. It was just there that I realized I had a one-nightstand. “Fuck what happened. Oh no this cannot be happening. I woke Christian up and he was just as surprised as I was. I then asked him “umm! Did we use protection?” just then I found condoms by the bedside and I was relieved, I got out of bed. Just when I stood up I felt pain in my lower abdomen.  Did I think to myself how big was he? I immediately shook that thought off. We then came to terms that this was a one-night thing and it ended there. Luckily I didn’t share my name with him. It was an advantage as I had never seen him around so assumed he was just a foreign investor.

We part our ways and I went to a pharmacy to get some morning-after pills just in case something happened.

I got the pills and headed home. Just when I got out of my car, Kathy came to me running. She asked where I was coming from. “  umm I just went to the office to finish my work.” I said panicking.

“Really?” she said giving that suspicious look.

“For real Katherine,” I said annoyed.

“Chill bruh! I was just asking.” She said. “also why

are you limping?” she asked.
