A soft breeze brushed against her skin as she entered the room, carrying a faint scent of evergreen. She felt her eyelids grow heavy and knew that it was time for rest, but before she allowed herself to drift off completely, she reached for her laptop. Cupping her hands around it, she searched the internet for nightmares and their hidden meanings. Despite feeling a twinge of skepticism, she followed her curiosity in hopes of understanding the truths concealed within her dreams.
In her dream,
His silver hair cascaded down his back, tied into a neat ponytail that framed his ethereal features. His eyes were a bright sapphire blue, and he seemed to be looking right into her soul. "Let's be friends," he said, his smile radiating kindness and warmth. She couldn't help but feel drawn to him, and although she knew it was impossible, she felt a connection that had been there since the moment they had met. She gave him a small nod, and in that moment, she knew that he would always be her friend.
She blinked, and before her was a luxurious bed, bathed in the light of the moon. She wondered what kind of nightmare this could be, and felt a sudden chill run down her spine. As she stepped off the bed, her eyes noticed a mirror in the corner of the room. Upon gazing at herself, she realized she was wearing a white silk dress, one with thin straps and a low-cut V neckline that showed off her collarbones. The dress cascaded past her knees in a gentle wave and over her shoulders, she wore an expensive yet simple net shawl. Stepping closer to the mirror, she admired the elegant beauty of her outfit.
But when she looked into the mirror, she was speechless. Reflected back at her was a red-haired girl with eyes of emerald and skin that shimmered in the moonlight. It was a beauty that any girl could fall in love with, no matter the time of day. Before she could fully take in her reflection, she blinked again, and the scene changed. She now found herself sitting on a sofa, with a faint voice coming from her left side. She turned around to see a strange figure standing there, its features shrouded in shadows.
" Are you sure you want to go? This is not a joke, my friend won't meddle with his son for this matter!!"
Strangely enough, she couldn't move willingly and talk either. Her mouth was talking on its own...
" Father, Don't worry, I'll make sure to come alive"
The dream seemed so incredibly real, that she felt as if her feelings were manifested inside the world. Before she knew it, she was back in her own bed, her breathing heavy from shock. She quickly looked around the room, making sure this was reality, and not just a continuation of her nightmare.
When she woke up and checked the time on her phone, she found herself in shock. The date was 19 November, 2:00 AM - a full day since when she had gone to bed. Why hadn't her mother woken her up, or even asked her why she was sleeping for such a long time? She shivered in confusion, as if something sinister was afoot.
Everything was getting blur...she was getting impatient...it was like she was going crazy...
:The following day, she decided to go to school and consult a psychiatrist. Unbeknownst to her, it would be her last day attending this particular school. She couldn't shake off the feeling that her mother had been trying to tell her something; it seemed like an instinctual warning that was trying to reach her. After having a quick breakfast, she set off for school. Along the way, she heard peers talking about a new manhua adaptation, called "Green Love". She couldn't help but feel an odd curiosity towards it, and thought that she should check it out when she got home.
Lusi's attention was caught when she heard people talking about how attractive the male lead in the manhua was. She had heard about the story before, but never felt a strong urge to read it until now. As she eavesdropped on the conversation, snippets of the synopsis began to fill her mind. Much to her surprise, she found that people weren't too happy with the ending of the villainess, with many feeling like her death was unnecessary and only used to make the love story more dramatic. It seemed like her demise was only used as a tool to create a powerful emotional moment - an action that many readers didn't appreciate.
After some time, she finally reached her destination. However, just as she was about to enter the building, her heart lurched as she bumped into a familiar figure. It was the same boy from her nightmare - the one with silver hair and a low ponytail. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something strange was happening, and her heart began to beat faster as she looked into his enigmatic eyes.
The very next moment, she found herself in an unknown place again, but this time was different.
