As I stepped into the house a maid came and informed me that my father is waiting for me in his study.

I was confused. Many questions popped into my head like Why he's waiting for me? Why he wants my presence in his study? What is the matter? Why so suddenly he wants to talk to me?

I have no idea, my mind was blank, and I was feeling nervous.

With long strides, I headed to the study room.

I nervously knocked on The door and a few moments later I heard a "come in" from my father's side.

When I stepped inside his study, my father looked me up and down and signaled me to take a seat in front of him.
