When Aurora headed outside, the warm breeze brushed against her face making her feel comfortable
A hazy yellow covered the sky
Soon, she was able to spot a black car and knowing it was Alex, she went towards it
When she reached, Alex lowered the window and said

*sigh* I could never match your level of excitement
Since Alex and Aurora are from different schools, Alex drops of Aurora first every morning
But being a member of the student council, he sometimes has to stay back, so Aurora either waits for him when school is done or just go home alone
Today, Aurora had some works after class, so she stayed back and did her work while waiting for Alex
A lot of students would stay back after school ends, so it's not unusual to see students roaming around even after session ends
The school was still noisy, so Aurora struggled to find a quiet place
The library was full and most of the classrooms were also being used
Finally, she found an empty classroom and sat down near the window sighing
She took out her book and started writing
Time didn't seem to have passed, but Aurora was brought back to reality when she felt something cool on her face
And right then, a basketball suddenly hit the window, startling her

What the heck?!
As soon as the student scurried off, Alex starting laughing
Aurora turned to him, clearly annoyed but he didn't seem to care
He continued laughing for a full 5 minutes before he stopped

A while passed by and Aurora had finally finished
When she was done, she packed up her things and walked out to find Alex, so they could go home
It wasn't too hard because when she turned a corner she had found him
She started walking faster but stopped when she saw someone with him
It was the second beauty if the school
Boys would fawn over her every corner she turned and girls were always ready to become friends with her
Aurora was also considered a beauty of this school
But things weren't the same as hers
Boys never approached her, and girls avoided her
Every step she took, she felt eyes all over her
And the occasional whispers would make her uncomfortable
But she didn't have any friends who she could ask
This i why she cherished Alex so much
He didn't care about her looks, or what looks others may give her
He stood up for hr when she couldn't
But why was he with that girl?
Aurora stayed frozen in her place, a bit shocked
Alex stared at the girl in front of him
His expression was cool and light
This probably gave illusion that he liked her too
He didn't even know her name, and he tried remembering if Aurora talked about her as she kept talking
The girl kept playing with her hands and looked down with a flustered face
So before she got to the point, Alex coolly said
She suddenly raised her head to see Alex walking towards Aurora
Alex reached Aurora and took her book bag from her, leaning his hand on her shoulder as they started walking away
They could hear a large thud but neither of them turned back
Once they were in the car Alex spoke

Once they got their boba, they decided to walk to Aurora's house after parking the car in Alex's home
While walking Aurora brought uo the incident in the school
