....

When I returned from my trip with the new cattle, my family complained of noise in the fields late at night, but for me it was something very usual, nothing unusual, there was no lack of a group of boys who found it fun to get into each other's way. the harvest to play pranks on each other or in the worst case on us. I had gone with the commissioner who did not usually do much or almost nothing about it, so all that was left for me was to stand guard next to my offspring and scare them away even if it was with sticks or bullets. When the firstborn was watching, he came in all pale in his face, he couldn't even speak; his trembling hands let me know that something was wrong, he was even braver than me, I didn't understand that I could scare him so much. He prevented me from doing it, again he didn't say anything, but with a look and with those eyes he warned me not to go. Instead, we leaned in so we could look out the window, he pointed his fingers at me where to look. At first it was just the branches moving, but as soon as "it" got up, I forgot even breathing; We were seeing a grayish and skinny being that easily reached three meters in height, it seemed that it was looking for something, and with each step it came closer to the house. From time to time I turned to see the rest of my family, I didn't know what to do, or how to act, how to know? I didn't even understand what we were seeing, much less what would come next. With each of my confused thoughts, I only gave him time to get closer, until he reached the front door of the house. My son's gaze was nailed to mine looking for an answer; I couldn't do anything but raise the machine gun and point it at him, but at that moment, the creature emitted an intense shriek with which it made our ears bleed and we lost our reason for a moment. Being conscious again, I only saw him walk away in the middle of the field, along with three others like him, until he was lost in a blinding light in the distance. My first reaction was to grab my family to get out of there, but the branches in the field kept moving, I didn't know how many more of those there were, or what his intentions were. So I had to risk until dawn. The fear of telling what happened that night was so sub-real, not only did they visit our farm, but that of dozens of other people that by the time I woke up I was in a place so white with sponges that they looked like clouds, my hands are tied by a straitjacket, a doctor comes in and gives me my medicine reminding me that it was not a dream but reminding me that I killed an entire town that night .....
