I screamed out my lungs as I look into a mirror that happen to be beside the bed, then suddenly…

'Bang!'… The door burst open, and a few people come in a rush into my room.

“Oh My Goodness, Princess! You're finally awake!! What happened?! I was so scared to hear the scream! Are you perhaps injured? Are you alr…”

Before she finishes talking, I cut her words,

“Wait, wait… I'm alright! You don't have to worry, there were just cockroaches lurking under my bed! Nothing serious”.

Hope she will buy this excuse for now. That was a lot of questions. If I didn't stop her, I think she will investigate this whole room. But, who is she? They're all dressed like a maid? I think she is the head maid? She gave out orders anyway. I need to figure out what is this place. Hmm, oh right, first I need to know who the heck this body own…

As I was daydreaming inside my head, “Princess? Princess?! Earth to Princess Cassandra!!”. It looks like the head maid was calling me, but…. Furiously?.....'oops…'

“Yes, yes, I heard you head maid”

As the head maid was about to give me her piece of mind… “Hmm? Princess, why did you call me like that?”

'Oh My God! How do I create excuse?! It's not like I can just casually say I'm not the owner of this body, right?'

“Hmm, princess, perhaps your head is hurting? You did hurt your head which cause you to be unconscious for a long time” She said that as she looks at me worryingly.

'That's it!'

“Maybe because of that. My head is in a daze and my memory seems a bit blurry”.

Thank God that back in the day I was a top student in literature and acting. It comes in handy.

“Oh my! Please wait a bit princess, I will call for Royal physician right away”.

The head maid turn around to reach the front door and…

“Oh, one more thing, princess, it looks like you forgot my name. Please call me lyrine, Your Highness. And as

Your Highness already knew, I'm the head maid of this royal palace. If you need anything, please ring this bell, okay”  Without waiting for my reply, the head maid walked out of my room.

'Phew'

I didn't start my day, yet I feel like sleeping again.

Eh? Wait!!! Did she just say Royal Palace?!! And she called me a Princess too!! Does that mean I'm in a palace, and I'm a freaking princess?!!

Oh, My Mother in heaven!! THIS IS TOO MUCH TO SWALLOW!!!
