Prologue

A long time ago, the world was in a state of crisis. These

huge problems spread through the whole country, hell, even the whole continent.

The ice which people thought it would melt and flood the land, the diseases

that could happen again like the Black Box that wiped hundreds of millions, the

hunger that happened because of low food production and rising costs which led

to mass hunger around the world specifically in the Africa and many poor

countries. An unexpected turn of event happen. It is hard to imagine about it,

but it did happen. In today’s world, those problems are no longer a concern,

like it didn’t matter anymore, as of how did it happen. It all happened ever

since the birth of an organization with its invention. This organization called

Simulacrum, invents the unthinkable and solved many problems throughout the

world, they are known and beloved by many for its services, they are also of a

great mind. Primarily technologies, they push forward what most businessman and

government disagree on, video games. By making the video games which in a short

time becomes the most played thanks to its feature and amazing concept they

also invite the players to help solve world problems, hundreds of millions of

people donated a piece of their minds on how to solve them, and it did. So,

they just needed to invent the technologies to create the possibility into

reality. Since then, the commons, the rich, scholars, the elders, even the

government and militaries rushing to play the game which this mysterious

organization created to solve world’s huge problem like before, they reward any

rational opinions.  But enough about

them, let's go and review the game.

“NeverEnding” the game which they made and can

only be used with a device called Simulacrum, is a never-ending open-world

MMORPG which offer limitless amount of freedoms in its gameplay that is set by

the world named well NeverEnding, this game is like any typical MMOs you can

find anywhere but one—no many things that make this different is its never-ending

quests and interaction with player it is just like a new reality, addiction toward

this game is treated normally, people could even get money playing this game by

selling their stuffs in real life or in-game items, it is just like a new job,

it is a new form of job and everyone can apply on.

Those great minds who have contributed great

ideas, are invited to join the organization and offered private rooms and many facilities

just like a 5-star hotel rooms which is called Panela Leage. Ever since they

release their infamous game that would be in the year 2140 into current time

which is 2147 there is only 4 players or people who have helped solve world

problem, they go by the alias: Serpto, Dedededide, H3r05, Noobmaster69. Those

are the brilliant minds that the world and NeverEnding adores the most, they

are famed for their ideas, as for Serpto, a typical teenager which can be found

anywhere and a came from the common zone, came purely by luck alone, he was

randomly putting his idea into the “NeverEnding Care for the World” one of the

game rooms where players could donate their ideas to it. He writes, “Build

above water, there is enough space for many more people. Try like ships or

something that float and requires less maintenance”.

Inside the Panela Leage which Serpto reside, he

sat on the white black edged soft levitating chair pushed by magnetic force, he

slowly wears the Simulacrum. It shaped like a helmet with a bigger bulb around

the visor which then a cable released and latches itself into his neck making

him slowly lose consciousness. A voice then appeared from the dark.

“User Identified: Kazuya……… Logging in as Serpto”

a metallic yet feminine voice can be heard from the vast darkness but then

slowly the darkness fade, a blurry picture of a room begins to emerge from his

vision and slowly became lifelike.

The wide fancy rectangle table which is

surrounded by each of the Heroes customized theme. The first seat made with a

solid gold anchor shaped is owned by a player called Goldy, she is the

first to join the Panela Leage and is probably the richest player alive,

wearing a coat from a fire salamander, a very rare drop which

is if the player has a skill called “Hunter” can find it with 0.01% chance of

dropping from the rare and legendary mob, fire salamander. Its skin is reddish

dark with a fragment of fire still glows from its leather, and her white silk

vest made from spider silk underneath her coat with a short pants which is

surprisingly normal or not because no player has the complete information about

her armor and gears.

The next seat which is owned by a complete giga

nerd, is owned by Dedededide a book enthusiast she doesn’t wear flashy gear like

Goldy do but instead making it really simple players can mistake it with a

newbie gear, but in fact she disguises her real gear, what the player see is

just its look, completely resembles “don’t judge a book by its cover” aside

from her mysterious, secret loving nerd book enthusiast she has the most normal

Panela Leage seat, atop of being honored, a spinning office chair.

The third seat is owned by a player feared of its

bizarre fighting styles and streaking tournament victories. Is owned by

Noobmaster69, a name full of joke from its age ranging 21st century,

he is customizing himself as a samurai with flashy blue coat, so long it hits

the ground. He also wears a red scarf similar to his robotic samurai armor. The last but not the least seat is owned by the

luckiest player ever to join Simulacrum and earned himself a seat into Panela

Leage, Serpto, his character is but a skeleton with his trusty 6 floating blood-colored

orbs behind him circling neatly and in order, his seat is but a normal one

similar like Dedededide still not yet customized because of his recent join, a week

after his join.

“Aaaahh, I’m sure glad as hell to be back in this

place, this seat costs me weeks of works and self-control to build it y'all

know?” the pirate spoke while she rests both her leg on top of the table, she

sighs a sign of relieve

“*Sigh* Can we just get this over with, I’m

really busy with the job I need to do, can you all just do this without me,

surely I don’t play a big part on this meeting anyway… H-Hey, legs down!” the

young girl keeps her complaint even after she gets on her seat

“You both are always the most lively in this

group, my Sword Saint Guild are not even to compare to both of you, calm down.

We are here to welcome the new guy, Solomon order remember?” enter

Noobmaster69, he sat on as in order with everyone else

“Oh, right. The newbie that recently joined, huh?

He surely looks like he can manage alone without our guidance and tour stuff,

something which is really boring to do. You are a player, like us, I’m sure you

can manage alone, exploring and getting to know stuff, so I’ll be going first.

Ciao!”

The pirate lady swiftly teleports her way out of

the room, leaving a marking on the carpet on which she stood, written “Ciao”.

Dedededide just nod as she stood from her seat, slowly

moving backwards, then she cast the same spell, a teleporting spell. Leaving

Noobmaster69 alone in charge.

“Those two, can’t they take a moment to greet the

newcomer on this organization, but they are correct. You should be able to do

this yourself, a fellow player such like yourself must have known on what to do

alone, and getting to know the place too of course. As you can see, my avatar

is futuristic samurai, I usually can be found hanging around in the Sci-Fi

server.”

A diamond-shaped rift opened beside Noobmaster69,

although it is small, he pulls something on what can be considered a sword

hilt, its shape is exotic, its texture is lizard-skin, but there is no blade

and then after a short amount of time, a black-metallic hue colored katana

shaped blade appeared

“The Neo Katana, known for its sharpness and

weapon abilities, doppelgänger. If compared to any other sword on the same

ranks it is but a more inferior sword, but the one that makes it legendary is

the wielder, it is you Noobmaster69 and here  I thought you would be more of like a bully because of your name.”

“My name? It is but a provocation, long ago this

name is widely used by players, and they are known to be a cheater, well not

everyone using this name a cheater though. As for why I chose it, I choose this

name because it sounds funny, that’s all”

He swung his sword slowly several times up to

left, left to up, up to right, right to up, followed by a ghostly similar form

of the blade, it swung with delays, a faint sound can be heard from the ghost

sword

“You said something about hanging in the Sci-Fi

server, isn’t the server full of guns and any other shooter games? Must be

crazy for you to survive there with just a sword and come to think of it, it

does sound cool”

“A bit of acrobatic here and there then slash, is

how I managed to survive lol. Your loose robe, skeletal being and magical orbs'

thingy. It is pretty obvious to know where u play. How’s it there, in the

Fantasy server, must be chaos and dizzy seeing spells flying around in the

skies, I have never been there in my life, not a fan of fantasy and magic you

see”

He lifted his skeleton arm and poised each of his

fingers, which were each imbued with a different element. His thumb sparked a

small reddish black flame, his index finger blew with a violent storm, his

middle finger manifested a small fragment of a crystal, his ring finger was

shrouded with the blackest black aura which was darkness, and his last (pinky)

finger was drooling with blood. From his palm, which was drawn with a magic

circle, a mysterious glow emanated.

"I don’t have much difficulty there you see,

since I mostly play solo, I avoid many players especially group of people. The

servers if full of thieves, which makes it stressful to play there, but you'll

get used to it if you play as long as I did there"

The elements are gone, the magic circle fades,

the two of them stares at each other, Noobsmaster69 nods.

“Bizarre thing happens in this game that’s for

sure, but alas welcome to the team Serpto, the chief will call if she ever needs

us but for now enjoy the game”

He says as he approaches the door, before leaving

he bows and the silence finally returns.Serpto remains in the room for a

moment, pondering over the situation.

“Oh shit, what do I do about this situation, they

thought I’m a genius like them, but I am only here out of pure luck!”

Serpto, sat in frustration he scratches his head

as if had any hair on it, he sighs heavily and stares at the door in which

Noobmaster69 just left

“What if I just told them, that I could prove no use

in this organization, what if I just spoke to the chief they mentioned”

He pressed his skeletal hand against his face as

he thought deeply, possibly overthinking things as he circled the table. After

a few moments has passed, he returned to his sense

“Arghhh, screw this thinking, I’m not a fan of

thinking. I'll just return to Fantasy server and enjoy some peace there”

“I hope the event still ongoing there, it would

be a shame if it ended.”

After moving his seat back in its proper place,

he cast a teleportation spell, after which he found himself in a fancy room

filed with many other players...or organization staffs

“Hey, Serpto. The others just left a few minutes

ago, you are the last to leave, huh? Anyway, good luck in your future, don’t

let us down now. On the most right, you can find the Fantasy server there,

Happy Gaming”

Serpto nods to the staff, after he pointed out

the way to his destination, the Fantasy server. The staffs are of many and all

different looking faces, races, and gender but still one with clothes of

Simulacrum. They are all rushing to each job like there is no tomorrow, but

some can be found snooping and enjoying the game, gambling.

The portal which could lead Serpto to the Fantasy

server is before him, the portal is a massive door, pictorial, but it is not,

the colors keep switching from red to green, green to blue, blue to white,

white to red with each gradient making it looks beautiful and mesmerising.
