It was an unusually dark night the moon was hidden in the darkness, the stars didn't want to shine. The whole world was silent then some one spoke.
Thane
Verity Van De Burgh it saddens me to say this but you have been sentenced to Death for the crimes you have committed against the state of Agra. Do you have any last words?
Do you know the sorrow you have caused?
Do you admit to your Crimes under the Dark sky?
Answer Verity..
Tears where running down the mans face as he looked at the woman in front of him. Verity was down on her knees staring back up at him with absolute defiance.
Verity
I never commited those crimes. It wasn't me, It has never been me. I have caused no one sorrow for I have not lived long enough to do so. I have no crimes to answer to under the Dark sky.
Thane
The Dark sky hears your answer. Yet you still deny everything that you are accused of. May the God of the Moon show your soul the truth.
The crowd that was watching the infamous Verity Van De Burgh's execution all held a captive breath as the sword held by Thane of Agra swung towards her neck.
Verity
Next time I will make you all pay!!! be sure of it.
As the sword sliced through her neck she swore she heard Thane utter...
Thane
*softly* You must come to me first, never trust him.
The whole of the world went dark. But a single round silver light sparkled in that darkness.
Moon
Verity(softly), Verity, Verity(louder), VERITY (very loud and annoyed) VERITY!!!!!!!
Verity
What, what now just let me sleep. I've had enough.
Moon
Not possible my sweet Verity. You died again!
Verity
Ughh no, have I got to do it all again.
Moon
Yes you do. The Sun cannot win this time.
Verity
This is the 3rd time, he is undefeatable, I think I just want to give up.
Moon
You can't give up the whole of this universe is dependent on your survival. If you keep dying the world will end, the devourer of souls will take everything, just because some jumped up little emporer wants ultimate power.
Verity
Why me though? Why do I have to try to save the universe.
Moon
Because you are a daughter of the Moon my child. The only one for thousands of years. Only you have the power to subdue the Sun.
Verity
What do I do though, I have tried and tried.
Moon
you know that is not possible. I can guide you, back in time but I can't influence your destiny that's yours to choose. This time choose wisely, because there is only enough power to return you one more time, we are running out of chances.
Verity feels a hand touching her head
Moon
Work hard little one hope I don't see you again.
The darkness envelopes Verity once again. Then she is woken by the sunlight streaming through the window. she rouses feeling sleepy and exhausted she stretches to find a familiar face looking at her.
Gwain
Wakey Wakey sleepy head. Today we have to go to choose your wedding dress.
Verity
ugh yeah sure whatever. who let you in hear?
Gwain
Lucille of course. She is very excited about choosing your gown.
Verity smiled sarcastically
Verity
Yeah of course she is *whispered * she's the one who will wear it anyway.
Gwain
Come now hurry and ready yourself we will be waiting in the parlour.
Gwain gestures to a maid standing behind him, and leaves the room.
Verity
I will dress myself today Margaret please excuse yourself
Margaret
Very well mistress. I shall take my leave.
The maid Margaret nods to Verity and exits the room.
Verity
Thank god. Right how am I going to get out of this? If I remember correctly the imperial gaurds are waiting for Gwain, they will.be stationed around the house in case of assassination. My father will be in his study. Those two are probably kissyfacing in the parlour. Ughh being the Crown princes fiancée is bloody difficult. Especially when you know he is going to use you to get the Sun power. Mmm what to do...
Verity ponders for a few minutes then remembers somthing from her previous life just gone.
Verity
Wait I am sure that Thane said to find him first, and if the Imperial gaurd are here with Gwain then Thane should be outside somewhere.
Verity quickly dresses, but puts on her riding habit. Rather than her day dress for town that was laid out ready. She looks out of the window and decides that it is to far to jump.
Verity
Just gonna have to walk out through the door. The two love birds won't notice, me leaving. Lets hope that Thane is gaurding the door.
Verity makes her way down the stairs cautiously, she spies Thane standing at the door, in full uniform.
Though she feel her hand reaching for her neck and shudders

I can't belive I just thought that about my killer. But he is beautiful, he is the dark to the light of Gwain.
Verity lost in her thoughts had not noticed Thane had approached her.
Verity
I could really run my hands through that black hair.
Thane
You are welcome to try any time miss Verity, allthough I don't belive my cousin would appreciate you doing so.
Verity
*face flushing 😳 * Actually I was looking for you. Can we go somewhere and talk?
Thane
I am on gaurd Duty at the moment. I cannot leave his majesty.
Verity
You have left him alone with my sister for the past hour have you not? I Don't belive either of them would notice that his fiancée and cousin had disappeared would they.
Verity
Yes I know. Why they have to use me as a sheild for their disgusting affair, I don't know.
Thane
It's beacause he has to marry you.
Verity
But wouldn't it be so much easier if you married me instead.
