Tears where running down the mans face as he looked at the woman in front of him. Verity was down on her knees staring back up at him with absolute defiance.

The crowd that was watching the infamous Verity Van De Burgh's execution all held a captive breath as the sword held by Thane of Agra swung towards her neck.

The darkness envelopes Verity once again. Then she is woken by the sunlight streaming through the window. she rouses feeling sleepy and exhausted she stretches to find a familiar face looking at her.

The horse slowed as they reached the destination. They had come to the Netherfield estate.
