Eve's Pov-

Something hard hit my head and black dots started to appear. Soon I was pulled in a deep slumber.

Xander's Pov-

I'm going to kill this man today. How many months has it been? 9? 10? I can't remember but today is his last.

My men held him while I kicked his stomach making him throw up blood.

"Tch. What a pain in the ***."

I clicked my tongue while that man sat on his knees trying to say something.

"P-Please Mr.Volkov- give me some t-time. I'll make sure to pay you by end of the month."

The old man said and I gritted my teeth.

What do they take me for? I removed my gun from my pocket and was playing with it. I could see the terror in his eyes.

"I hate liars. You should've known that by now." I said and placed the gun point on his head. He joined his hands and kept begging me to show him some mercy.

I was going to shoot when I heard a girl say something. I turned to look at that way and saw James dragging a girl near me. Two kills today.

Short hair, petite body, small figure, dull eyes, weak body language.

She was pushed down and her clothes were all dirty. Like I care.

"She was peeking." James said.

I can't do my work properly can I? Someone has to disturb me right?

She was trembling at my mercy and I liked it. People was tremble after seeing me but she was different. I don't know how but she is.

I kneeled down and pushed her hair back. Smooth.

I threatened her to say the truth and seems like she wasn't planning on getting involved. But I can't trust her yet.

It can be a trap too. Who knows.

But she's too innocent to kill me.

I stood up and was puffing on my cigrette when she asked if she could leave.

I'm not ready to leave her yet. I want to use her and then after I'm done, I'll leave her.

I want to see her vulnerable, pathetic, living on my support. She shouldn't do anything without me.

I signalled my men to make her unconscious and James hit her on her head.

"Should've hit her a bit softly you shit." I said while walking towards the girl.

"It's not as if you care, so why?" James asked, I could feel the taunt in his sentence.

It's true though. Why would I care?

Her body limp, lying in dirt looked pretty. I looked at her face closely not caring that my men were staring at me.

She's pretty. Her look is innocent and she looks defenceless. I can kill her with just few slaps and kicks. I let out a small laugh.

"Pick her up and put her in the car. And for the man, he should be in my base." I said and went to my car. I sat and drove to my mansion.
