Slippers

For all this time I never really had a friend, I knew a lot of people but I don't feel like I want to get to know them. Because I knew they were just acting nice to me.I always thought friendship is a troublesome and I always stay away from it especially after what happened between me and Valerio. Once he was my bestfriend, we're childhood friends. He always care for me, always make me laugh, defend me, he always there stand by my side no matter what happened.He's like an angel for me but that was then..Now the angel is become a devil for me and it's my nightmare. I'm in my own mind and suddenly my phone ringing, it's Ludo who's calling.

" Hi , what's up? do you miss me already?"

" Yeah I miss you so bad" she's teasing me.

Im blushing for a while when I heard she said like that.

" Hahaha, I knew it.No one can't resist my charming even it's a girl "

" Yeah indeed. Ehm, would you like to hangout with me this weekend?"

" Yeah sure, so it's a date? Haha " I feel happy when I heard she asked me to go out with her.

" Are you nuts? we're just hangout not dating"

" Haha, hey don't be so serious I'm just joking"

And we keep talking till midnight, we talk about many things. We began to get to know each other well. What's our hobby, our favorite songs, our dreams and what we will be in the future.

The sun is rising high but I still on my bed. Don't want to let go my lovely pillow in my arms.Then I heard someone knock on my door.

" Young miss, your friend already waiting for you downstairs"

" Who dare to disturbed my sleep on weekend? tell them to leave" I shouted angrily.

" But she said you already make an appointment to go out with her today"

I'm not fully awake and my soul is not complete yet because half of my soul still left on my pillow. I'm trying to recall my memory and after a few times I finally remembered I made an appointment with Ludo today.

" Crap! Tell her I will be ready in 5 minutes!"

I have a special ability to shower and get change like The " Flash" (one of DC superheroes). I'm going down with a super speed.

" Oh hai Ludo, sorry for waiting"

I saw Ludo sitting on the living room with a cup of tea in her hand, she looked amazing even she's just wearing a ripped jeans and leather jacket on.

" Are you sure want to wearing those shoes?"

She look at my high heel shoes.

" Eh, is there any problem with it?" I looked at her shoes and she just wearing a sneakers.

" Well, I don't want to carry you if you sprain your ankle later"

" Don't worry, I wore this kind of shoes since I was born"

Ludo laughed out loud and I'm stunned with her smile it's like an angel.

We're going out to the amusement park. And I think I kind a knew why she was questioned my shoes before.

" Damn it! Why you didn't tell me before?"

" What? didn't I?"

" I won't carry you, watch your step"

She's just cold hearted girl as usual.

We're going to ride all of the rides there. The sun is burnt above us and the crowded streets is getting me dizzy. My ankle its hurt because we have walked for a long time. My dress is getting wet due to my sweat on my back. It's really hot, I shouldn't wear this dress in the first place.

" Wait here, don't go anywhere just sit here "

She gave me a bottle of water.

" Where'd you go?"

She didn't answer, she just walk away. I can feel the wind slightly blowing in and it feels good. I saw a lot of couples there holding hands but here I am with my friend ( girl ) going out to amusement park. It's not romantic at all. I hated to see couples because I'm single. Suddenly I heard unfamiliar man voice,

" Hey pretty one, are you alone? wanna join us for fun?" He sat next to me and holding my shoulder without permission.I really hate this kind of jerk.

" Get the hell out of here!" I pushed him as I'm trying to getting up.

But he pull my hand back so I fell to his lap and he grab my waist. I saw his friends already surrounded me. there's a few girls too in this group, seems they were their girlfriends.

" Let me go!"

" I will shout if you didn't let me go!"

I saw a lot of peoples there but no one help me and they pretending that they didn't see me.

" I warned you, you better let me go before I kicked your ***!"

" Ohh you really turned me on sweety, I like wild girl like you"

I can feel he kissed my back and it disgusted me. I'm planning to kicked their *** but suddenly there's a bottle flying towards me. I manage to dodged it but the bottle hit the man's eye really hard. He loosen his hands and scream.I manage to escaped. It seems hurtful and his friends come to check on him.

" Don't you dare to laid your dirty hands on my friend "

I heard Ludo voice and she's the one who threw the bottle out.

" You bitch! I'll kill you!" a man is approaching us and aim his fist to Ludo.

When I was ready to kick him suddenly Ludo is coming in front of me and she kicked the man really hard and He fell to the ground.His friends look terrified with Ludo Killing face mode on. Not so long security's also arrived, they separated us and bring the injured one. After questioning us they released us because we're the victims here.

"Here, take this and go get change later" she gave me a pair of clothes.

She take off my shoes and put a patch on my sprain ankle.

" Is it hurt?" Ludo asked me while she massage my feet gently.

" No, not really and Thank you for helping me out"

" I'm just asked you to wait here, why'd you get yourself into a trouble?"

She keep murmuring and I just smile. despite from her cold hearted look she's caring and soft inside. She not only bought me a pair new clothes but also a new pair of slippers. she knew my feet is in pain due to the high heels. She hold my hand all the way home and I never think it would be this nice being held by someone else. No one ever give me this comfort feeling before except Valerio. I leaned on her shoulder and closed my eyes. I said to myself that I won't let her go, it sound selfish but I don't care. I wish this happiness could last forever..
