Chapter 1 Meeting Him

[Rin's POV]

I am Rina Heartfillia Hasegawa and currently a university student. It's already morning and I just woke up since, I have a class today. My best friend will get angry again because I'm the reason why we are always late.

I started to prepare for my school.

"Rin! Breakfast is ready" Yuki my best friend called me.

I am living with my best friend in the dormitory because my parents are busy working in Japan. Our main branch is located there so I decided to stay here with my best friend. It's so lonely to live in a big mansion.

I also have an oni-chan (brother). He is also busy taking care of our company here and he's always working out of town. I'm so lucky that I have a best friend like Yuki and I have known her for more than a decade. She is like a family to me and someone that I can rely on.

"I'm coming!" as I remembered that my breakfast is ready.

I can consider myself as fortunate since she can cook delicious meals.

"Eat fast or we will be late again" she added.

Well Yuki is ranked 3 in our university. That's why she's very strict when it comes to punctuality.

I just nodded and ate fast. After that, we started to walk. It will only take 5 minutes to be there because the university is just near our dormitory.

We were almost there when my phone suddenly rang. I picked it up because, I saw my oni-chan's name flashed on my screen.

"Oni-chan" I uttered.

"This is not your brother" a strange guy answered on the phone.

Who is this? Don't tell me... my brother is a gay and this is his lover. Oh no! Hasegawa lineage will be over soon because my oni-chan likes men.

"Who are you?" Please don't tell me that you're my oni-chan's lover. Hasegawa's gene will be over.

"I'm his best friend" he answered.

Thank God! I really thought that my oni-chan is a gay since he never had a girlfriend.

"Okay. But why are you calling me? and why do you have my oni-chan's phone?" I never knew that my brother has a best friend. I don't have any idea about this man. I mean I have a good relationship with him and I love my oni-chan the most. I know almost everything about him. But, this is my first time hearing about this guy.

"Well, unfortunately your oni-chan is in the hospital and he wants to see you" he responded.

"Why is he in the hospital? What happened is he okay?" I started to panic. I hope that everything is okay.

"He's fine. Don't worry there was a car accident and he had some scratches and bruises" he reassured me.

I wanted to see my oni-chan right away. I wanted to see if this stranger is telling the truth.

"I'll be there. Tell me the name of the hospital"

"Cross Hospital. Sorry I needed to end the call now. The doctor is looking for me." he said as he ended the call.

I hugged my best friend after the call. I'm really worried. I told her what happened and she nodded her head.

I rode a taxi and thanked the driver since he drove fast. I entered the hospital and talked to the front desk. She gave me the room number of my oni-chan. I thanked her and walked as fast as I could.

I was already in front of my oni-chan's room when I saw a tall guy wearing a hood and talking to someone on the phone.

I was about to enter when he stopped me.

"Rin?" he said while looking at me intently.

"Yes?" I answered in confusion.

He suddenly hugged me tightly. What the hell is he doing? I punched him.

Is he crazy? It's weird to hug strangers.

"Pervert!" I screamed.

He let me go and look at me again intently. Am I exaggerating because I can see in his eyes that he's longing for me?

"I'm not a pervert, little girl" he answered.

I know my height is short but, this is bullying. I'm not a kid anymore.

"I hate you! I will call the police" I burst out.

"Do you think I like you?" he responded and smiled sarcastically. He is a pain in the neck.

I just went inside of the room to see my oni-chan and gave him a cold shoulder. I don't want to debate with this pervert man. Even though he's handsome. Looks can be deceiving.

I saw my brother lying on the bed. That's why I ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"Hey sissy"

"Are you okay?" I asked in a worried tone.

"I'm fine no worries. Accident is inevitable" he responded. He is such a carefree person.

"You should take care next time. You will die single" I teased.

My oni-chan laughed as I reminded that he is single.

"Oh by the way, Rin. Did you meet my best friend?" he asked.

"I didn't know that you have a best friend" I pouted.

Oni-chan laughed when he saw me pouted. It means I'm angry in a cute manner.

"He lives in Japan but now he decided to live here in the Philippines"

"I see. So that's the reason why I am not familiar with him"

I thought he has a secret relationship with him that's why he's hiding his best friend.

"Hey, man. I think you forgot to introduce yourself" my brother said while looking at him.

I also look at him and my eyes widen. This pervert! He is my oni-chan's best friend. No way in hell!

"Hey little girl. I am Lenrainne Cross Kagamine" he said and bowed to us.

"Oni-chan this guy is a pervert. He suddenly hugged me!" I retorted.

My oni-chan laugh as he tap this pervert guy's shoulder.

"What's wrong with that?" this despicable pervert asked.

"Answer your own question, pervert!" I responded angrily.

My oni-chan laughed as if he's watching something funny. Is there a hidden camera man or are we filming that's why he's laughing?

Why they didn't notify me that they are filming right now? I think I need to play along.

"There's nothing wrong with it. Rin is my fiancee" this pervert man stated.
