My room

Okay" I said. 

"It's not about ok, well it's about us we need to break k up so today I want to free you from this relationship so you can go and find happiness somewhere else. Thank you very much for your time, attention and love but I cannot continue with this relationship because continuing with it means I do not value my future cuz you're going to be distracting me. Do not take it in an offensive way bye Valerie.

I then heard a beep indicating that the phone has been hung up I sat down there on my bed in a daze thinking of what he just said to me. He didn't even wait for my reply when he hung up the phone that means I wasn't the important to him. I thought even if it's going to be like this that I could move there since I have work to do but he just couldn't continuation this relationship ship with me then I suddenly remembered about the blind date Dad have set up for me.

I felt so free that I go to that blind date without having any doubts of cheating in my mind now I could go there freely as a single woman and if the guy is nice and interesting I will accept him because Dad said he wanted to marry me that's very good right.

 I kept my phone on the bed trying to hold back the tears that wanted to slow down my cheeks as he is not that important for me to shed a tear because of him I strode to the bathroom, strip of my clothes and turn on the top of the bathtub decided to brush my teeth after adjusting the temperature. After brushing my teeth I sucked into the bathtub relaxing my muscles after that I went out for a run because I usually take a bath before doing my usual running in the morning. I ran around the estate, where I met some old friends and talked about somethings while running because they usually go out from morning run to. After that I went back home, I went straight to my room. Dad was still not awake because today is Sunday and Britney is nowhere to be found I don't know if she's in her room or Dad's room so I thank god that she's also not awake. I showered, wore some clothes and some light makeup because I was in the mood of snapping pictures. I went to the backyard where there are some background for snapping pictures. I was wearing loose green shirt and trousers. I tied a green scarf did some light green makeup on my face. I gave my phone to the maid to snap me. She snaps me pictures whenever I'm back for holidays and before I went to the university and she's really good really really good at snapping pictures. She snapped me some pictures and I did some selfies then went onto my Instagram account after editing my pictures on my laptop to post it on my blog. It's actually like a personal blog but also not a personal blog because I use it to improve my career as a photographer since I studied photography in the university so I have to work like a businesswoman. I do not want to be working for a company I wanted to start my company.

I went to the kitchen to find the maid preparing breakfast with me and Dad is still nowhere to be found so I asked the maid "hey Jenny do you know where Dad and Brittany are?? Are they still in their room?"

Then she told me that they left for Bayelsa state this morning because Dad has a surgery to perform in a hospital there and mum escorted him to see her old friend so I was all alone at home actually I was so happy because of his way without Britney the devil but at the same time I wanted to talk to Dad before going for the Blind date just as I was thinking about that I saw that message informing me about the name of the man I'm going to meet, the restaurant going to dine and the time again after he told me last night. 

The name of the man was David Michael William and he is the second generation young master of the family "The Williams". We are going to meet at the restaurant on the island, which is very very expensive and we were going to meet by 5. 

I then started thinking of how the man would be like. Will he be mean, rude, arrogant or nice. I was still thinking when I heard Jenny saying "the food is ready. Madam and Master wouldn't be coming back until after a month because they seriously have a lot of work to do there" I smiled and said "thank you" took the plate and my coffee mug from her went to the dining room to eat my food. It was my favorite breakfast 'French toast and coffee'.I was very very hungry I don't know why but I've been eating a lot recently and I have to work out more than I usually do before. After breakfast, I went back to my room

Immediately I went back to my room, I went to my bookshelf took the new book I bought on my way to Abuja airport and started reading. While reading I fell asleep and Didn't wake up 3 in the afternoon. When I woke up and checked the time I freaked out. I quickly ran to the bathroom showered and came out of the bathroom, did my makeup and open the gift bag Dad gave me. when I opened it I saw a green strapless dress with a front high slit and a pair of green shoes and a diamond necklace and earrings.

I quickly changed into it, put on my jewelry and shoes pick my small green purse and left the room. When I went downstairs luckily the driver on there. I checked the time and saw it was already 4:30 I was very scared that I couldn't make it in time because of the traffic in Lagos.

The drive to the restaurant on the island was so nice. I actually love the island because of its view. Its the most beautiful place for me in lagos and was so happy because I usually don't go to the island frequently. When we arrived at the hotel, I entered the restaurant area have the hotel and the waitress came over to me asking me if I have a reservation and then told her I have a reservation under Mr Williams name.

She then led me to VIP room when got there I saw a young man with brown hair wearing a blue tuxedo sitting down and typing something on his phone. When he heard the door open he raised his head and looked at me with a smile on his face. 

He came to me and held his hand out and said "hello nice to meet you, you must be miss Valerie Jeffrey?".

I smiled back and said " yes and you must be Mr David Williams?". He said "yes please come they have a seat." 

He pulled a seat for me before he went back to his seat and sat down, then he signalled the waiter with his hand to come and serve us wine.

We then placed our orders and started a conversation while eating, where we got to know more about each other. The dinner was nice and exciting. He offered to drop me at home which I agreed. We got into inside his car and he drove us. On our way to my house, he asked me "are you in a relationship".  

"No I'm not in a relationship" I answered. He smiled "then can you be my girlfriend?". 

I kept quiet pondering on what to say cuz I don't know if I can be in a relationship right now and see that I just broke up with my boyfriend this morning and it's still disturbing me it hurts.

I just don't know what to say to him. Then I heard him say "if you do not want to be in relationship right now it's not a problem we can be friends".
