Glass-like heart

—The human heart is weak and fragile, almost like a pane of glass.

It feels hard and strong on touch, but breaks into pieces as soon as it hits the floor.

The people around me are the perfect example of such delicacy.

I never harmed anyone, never cursed anyone, nor jinxed a child.

But their human fear had them let loose all sense of logic and get me "executed"

—Out of fear that my ice magic might be a potential threat to their lives.

All I wanted was to live a peaceful life... I tried my hardest to not expose my ability to create ice.

But one day I couldn't hold it in when I saw a person from my village about to fall from the roof of his house.

I immediately created a soft snow bed below him just so he escapes fatal injuries.

And that's where I made a fatal mistake, exposing my magic right in front of everyone.

Many villagers reported me to the church and now I was being marched in the entire town towards my execution spot.

"—The strong rule the weak"

But this fact could be reversed if the weak gather up and overthrow the strong.

My life can no longer be saved...the church deems any woman with magical powers a WITCH.

And the common folks fear them for their powers.

I've lost all my hope for life, begging the guards won't help either.

All I can do is walk... and walk to the spot, where I shall be burned alive.

"If she stays alive, I can't imagine what kind of evil she might do!"
