The Witcher Cleansing of sin

The sky is dusty and yellow because the sun is preparing to dive into the sea. Crows are gathering around on the rooftops of several houses, waiting for what's about to come.

Surely being able to eat roasted meat might be a feast for them.

A great crowd has been gathered at the shopping square.

Everyone is their, present to witness what is called the "cleansing" of someone's sin.

A word which ignites thrill in one's heart and terror in the other's.

—An Execution.

People are chattering among each other in low voice.

Some are excited, some are curious, while some loathe humanity for what it has become.

Children are clenching to their mother's clothes, and looking up to their face curious about what the crowd is here for.

"—Make way, the witch is coming!"

Hearing a soldier's cry, the crowd goes silent—

And soon makes way for those who are about to pass.

They were soldiers in full body armor made of silver iron which sparkled in the yellow rays of the sun.

They were dull, full of dents yet majestic in a way.

They were marching towards a concrete pillar surrounded by logs, and then the crowd.

But they were not on military march, they were accompanying someone.

Or rather that someone was being accompanied by them.

"—Clank!"

It was a beauty with hair as white as snow, and a slight shine like silk.

She was wearing dusty yet plain clothes which were supposedly that which prisoners wore.

Her hands were chained and she was being led by two soldiers in front of her.

Her eyes were closed, but she was aware about the destination and place.

At this moment, the crowd slowly began to chatter again.

"—Look, it's that woman".

"Such a shame for a beauty like her to be a sinner".

"—I heard that she used to do black magic on children!"

The woman kept silent and walked behind the guards.

But the chattering about her kept going and going until she couldn't hold it back anymore and —

Even though they don't know a thing about me!

Guard: Did you say something?

Hearing Isabella's low cry, the guard turned his face back to her.
