*knock! knock! knock!*

the knocking continues.

I hesitated to go to the door but I didn't think about it too much.

I went to the door and looked through the peephole to see who is outside and it was the guy next to our room.

"Uhm, may I help you?" I asked after opening tge door halfway through.

"Ah yes, you see my girlfriend suddenly felt cramps in her abdomen area and I don't know how to help her." he scratched his head "I thought maybe I could ask you for help"

Was that the moan I heard earlier?

"Oh okay wait a minute, Sir, I'll just grab something that might help her" I went back inside and took a napkin and a painkiller with me and tucked then inside my pajamas.

I closed the door, unlocked, and he escorted me to his room.

"Uhm she's in my bedroom" he showed me his bedroom but I stayed in my place.

"You should go first, Sir, Hehe" I acted a little shy because I feel something strange when I got to his room.

The living room is too clean and tidy like it's never been touched. Maybe they have a good cleaning service here since it is an expensive hotel.

We went inside the room and I saw the lovely lady lying in bed and hurting.

"excuse me, Miss, are you hurting so bad?" I asked as I approach her from the side of the bed near the drawer where the wine is placed.

It has a bottle of wine and 2 wine glasses poured with wine.

"We had a little drink then she suddenly collapsed and said her abdomen hurts" said the guy across me on the other side of the bed

"Are you on your period? Here I brought napkins and painkiller" I placed them beside her "Take the medicine and you should feel fine later" I smiled at her.

"Thank you. I didn't know I'll suddenly have my period. I always keep track of it"

As she looked at me, I immediately noticed her beauty. Plump pink lips, rosy cheeks, bright brown eyes, long lashes.

Maybe that's why this handsome guy fell inlove with her.

"Will she be fine?" The guy asked me.

I looked at him and again I was distracted by his beauty, Hazel brown eyes, pink lips, pointed nose, defined jawline, thick brows...

"are all right?" he asked me.

i didn't know I was that distracted. I felt embarrassed.

"I-it's better to call a Doctor or a nurse" I answered.

"o-oh okay... I'll call one later"

later? do you want your gorlfriend to suffer more?

"Miss, take your medicine and have a rest." I smiled at her and she looked weak and pale.

why do I feel like she's begging for my help?

"Thank you for your help. I should escort you outside. I must have panicked" the guy escorted me outside his room "Thank you very much, how can I repay you-"

"O-okay... Thank you again" and he gently closed the door.

I walked towards our room and I saw Alfiora and Linzy just looking at me with their wide smiles and insulting look.

I went inside and they followed me.

"What did you do? waaahhh Xhexi! I didn't know you were that bold!" Linzy slapped my shoulder and rolled over her bed.

"Hmmm looks like we have a winner. So, tell us, what happened?" alfiora squinted her eyes and looked at me waiting for my answer.

"Ahhh~ I'm too tired. I'll tell you tomorrow" I fake yawned and went back to watching the horror movie I left.

"Hmp! fine, You'll tell us tomorrow"

Linzy and Alfiora did not bother going to bed early because they don't like watching horror movies. It will haunt them for a year before forgetting it.

While watching, I can't stop thinking about the wine I saw.

I smelt something different coming out of one of the glasses.

It wasn't the wine, it was something stronger. It's like acid.

And why did he called me instead of the emergency staff in the hotel?

This is making me crazy. Why do I suddenly feel like something is really wrong.

No. no. no. Stop thinking about it.

I watched the movie and it is starting to give me the chills which I normally don't feel whenever I watch movies.

I chose another movie to watch to take my mind off such crazy thoughts.

I heard anothet faint moan. I played a random movie and sloghtly lowered the volume to act like I'm watching something.

I walked slowly and kneeled to the ground to peek at the hole again.

I saw two feet facing each other really really close. As I was about to stand the hole became blue again. Like someone blocked it.

I was surprised that I crawled backwards away from the hole.

"Xhexi?" I looked beside me and Linzy's standing there looking confused.

The light coming from the tv screen was the only source of light in the living room.

I place my finger on my nose gesturing her to be quiet.

I stood up and sat on the sofa. She sat beside me "What's wrong?" she whispered.

at this moment we lowered our voices only the two of us can hear.

"Nothing"

"Then what were you doing down there?"

"Nothing"

"Hmm? tell me"

I faced her and held her hands, "But promise me first that you will never tell anyone about this"

"I promise" she nodded multiple times.

"okay... I was peeping at the other room. Hehe" I scratched the back of my head and faced the Tv again.

"ooooh someone's jealous" she pokes my cheek.

"tss whatever. go back to sleep" I shook my head.

"I can't sleep. I want to stay here with you until I feel sleepy." she took one of my foods and ate it. "Delicious"

I can't tell Linzy and Alfiora what I think is happening. They'll be easily scared even if the story is not true horror story.

The only thing I can do now is to look out for them. I knew I felt something weird the moment I stepped in this building.

and the reviews! I should read them.

I took out my phone and read the review I saw at the car but to my surprise it's nowhere to be found.

I looked at another low star reviews, "There's something weird in the building. I can't tell what is it but I tell you I am seeing something unreal and the staff think I'm being crazy!..."

"The walls in my room aren't soundproof. I always hear moans..."

Not soundproof? Like our room?

"What are you thinking, Xhexi?"

"I'm just thinking of the street food area. I can't wait to go back there again" I smiled at Linzy eating chocolates.

"Mmmm me, too!"

"I already feel sleepy. Let's go to bed" I turned off the TV and Linzy head to the bathroom first to brush her teeth.

I felt something... or someone... was watching me.

I turned around and looked at the small hole but I can't see any. The lights are already turned off.

I shook my head and never mind it instead.
