Chapter one

Palma ran towards the bus stop in a hurry. She was late for her interview and it was all because of her damn boss in a convenience store she works for. The bus stopped as she quickly entered and sat down. She brought a mirror from her hand bag to check her self. "Oh my gosh!! "She got startled as she saw her self. Her make up has been washed from the sweat on her face when she ran. "Damn!! "She cursed and search through her bag for her powder and lipstick but didn't see none . Today is just a bad day for her. She can't go to the interview looking like a ghost. "What am I going to do? "She ruffles her black hair in aggression. As the bus stopped she ran out abruptly to find a restroom to wipe her make up as she curse how cheap the make up foundation was.

Palma ran into the company and collide with a handsome looking man. The man is tall with fair skin. "What are you? "That was the first thing he said while staring at her ghost like face.

"Am sorry... "She trailed off as she saw how beautiful he was. He was like the epitome of handsomeness. Dark brown hair which its parted across his face. His eyes her light brown with a long lashes. Palma gulped and cursed her bad luck again. Why does she have to run into someone as handsome like this with this type of face and distorted cloth and hair. She apologized again and ran away.

The man shook his head and walked away.

After Palma was done cleaning her make up off with tissue and water, she use her hand to comb through her hair and adjusted her clothes. She walked out of the restroom and headed to the reception desk. "Good day ma'am, how may I help you? " asked the receptionist.

"I came here for an interview with Mr. Luxury "said Palma.

"You are a minute late"

"I know.. I had some trouble on my way here".

"Take the elevator head to the 18th floor"said the receptionist.

"Thank You so much!! "Said Palma as she ran to the elevator.

She got to the 18th floor and walked inside the interview room. She bow her head down and said in an apologetic manner. "Am Palma Jordan, am sorry for coming... "

"Get out" palma was cut off hearing a cold voice. "Am sorry sir I know am late, but it is one minute late... Please interview me!! ".

"Do you think I will employ people like you... Even if it is a seconds late, get out".

Palma raised her head, but was surprise to see a face she met just at the entrance of the building. "You!!! "She exclaimed. The man snorted "ghost girl.... I can't still employ people who look like a ghost ". He walked passed her as his secretary followed behind him. Palma was still rooted on the ground in shock. She can't believe that the person she bumped into was the owner of the building.

Barry Luxury, the CEO of Luxury Design and other Luxury corporation. Like the Luxury Restaurant, Boutique, Café, and Luxury Diamond. His company are all over the world. And it became every man dream to work for the company. His main branch is the Luxury Design and that was were Palma wanted to work as a designer.

Palma was seated on a chair in the convenience store sulking . Gustin walked in and saw her sulking. "What's wrong? "He asked. Gustin was her best friend and also work in the Blue Ivy convenience store.

"Gustin close the store and let drink huh? "Said Palma.

"Tell me what happen? "

"Am doomed!!!".

"You didn't get the job? "

"Ha! I wish.... I wasn't even interviewed!! "She exclaimed.

"Wow!! What did you do? "

"I was just a minute late and he was so scary and even said he doesn't need a ghost like person to work for him".

Gustin bust into a huge laugh. "Haha haha!!... I told you not to buy that cheap make up and not to even use it. Ha haha!! "

"Yeah laugh all you want.... Come on let go and get drunk ".

"Sorry I can't... Just go home and search for another company that will accept a ghost.. Haha!! "
