Chapter 5: "Plain Dumb"

Rose pov.

Boy toy is so annoying. All he does is whine about how I've ruined his life and can you believe he thinks he's not attracted to me? I mean who the hell doesn't want a piece of this!

But he's adorable as well.

He gets all blushy and then looks down or starts stuttering. It's truly amusing and cute.

But as I've said before.

He.

Is.

So.

Not.

My.

Type.

So in the seven days I've known him I have noticed he is a dumb blonde sort of guy.

You know the joker who is actually really sweet and gets laughed at more than with. That dumb blonde type.

I think he has a fan club at school because I've seen at least 10 girls at once huddled in a corner talking about his cute smile.

Which I agree with even though he has a squared smile. I mean how does he do it? its a damn square.

"Do what?" Blake asks me making my eyes widen.

"How much did I say aloud?" I ask raising my eyebrows. I can not raise one eyebrow otherwise I would have.

"How does he do that?" He imitates my voice making him sound like a ridiculous chimpanzee.

"Fuck you bitch" I whack him in the head. We were just about to leave school and were waiting for everyone to regroup.

"Fuck-" Lilly came into view just in time.

"Fuck who?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"Hey babe" he kisses her nose making her smile.

Ugh! Typical Blaliy. Yes I love my sister and I love Blakey wakey. But they are so into each other its kinda annoying.

I mean why do they always have to be so...happy?

Okay that is a bit mean, but just saying.

"Ewww get a room!" I shout while walking away, everyone around us starred at them as they glared at me.

"They already have one" Nat mutters appearing from no where. Nat was a tall blonde haired boy with the most prettiest eyes. The reason why we haven't gone at it...he likes my not single sister and has given up on her...sorta. he was the childhood friend that got left behind. Sad story really.

"You know what you need my friend?" I ask flinging an arm over his shoulder...Well I would have of he wasn't two heads taller than me, so I was basically hugging him.

"Is to never take her advice!" Someone popped into our mini bubble.

"Agreed" Nat and Jake fist pump smirks spread on both of their faces.

"Stop stealing my friends!" I pull his blonde locks making him wince. "Ow!".

"You guys are such kids" Jimmy had also regrouped and was shaking his head in disappointment.

"She/he started it!" We were now both pulling each others hair and sprawled over the hard concreated floor.

"Stop acting like kids!" Lilly scolded, pulling us both up and motioning us away from each other. We glared at each other.

He is a pain. I thought he was the nice guy.

"I'm not sitting in the car she's sitting in" he points at me his brown eyes throwing darts.

"Don't worry about it I have places to be!" I spat walking in the other direction. I hear him snort but to keep my mouth shut and walked off.

"See you guys at Mark's party" I wave my friends off.

"K, love you!" Lilly blew me a kiss as they drove off in Blake's car.

I took out my phone and rang my favourite boy, Oscar.

"Hey babe" he greeted, I could sense his smile over the phone.

"Pick me up" I ordered with a sigh while I pulled my hair into a high pony.

"Where you at sugar?" He asks and I hear the car start.

"School" I inform pulling out my lipstick and filling in my lips with a dark red.

"Be there in five" he tells me before cutting off he line.

In the meantime I was reading a book. Yes, I do read. But I can't handle normal paper books they have to be on my phone.

I hear a loud beep and my eyes shot up to the car parked in front of me. The tinted Windows slid open revealing a guy around Blake's age, a year older than me, with hair dyed a fuchsia pink and green eyes that had golden specks in them.

Yes, he loves his colours.

"Took you long enough" I smirked seating myself in the front seat of his Audi R8.

"I'd say I'm just on time" he declares smirking right back at me.

"You know me too well" I turn to look out the window.

We passed my house on the way and I see Jake had met my little brothers. The place I call home looked like such a bright place but for some reason I let myself get pulled in by the darkness...

Lilly's POV

I was at home trying to get some babysitting for my brothers, my Aunt was at work and there was no babysitter available.

"I'm sure my mum won't mind" Jake perks smiling at me.

"Really?" I ask my eyebrows raised slightly hopeful.

I hadn't been on a group outing in ages. I really needed one this week and Marks party was just the thing.

"Let me just give her a call" he shrugs his shoulders, taking out his phone and walking into the other room.

"She said we could drop them off now" Jake returned with Souta, our youngest brother draped around his neck.

"You go get ready" Blake speaks up, "we'll go drop off the monsters" he ruffles their hair up.

"Thank you" I kiss them both on the cheeks running up the stairs to get ready.

I took out my phone to ring Rose.

"Rose we're getting ready are you coming?" I ask when she picks up.

"Sure let me just shower" she answers making my eye twitch in disgust.

"K, I'm giving you 10 minutes" I tell her hanging up after.

"Ugh! She drives me insane!" I scream burying my head into a soft pillow.

I sighed pulling out our dresses. We had gone shopping a few days back and had bought the perfect party dresses.

"I'm here!" Rose ran in her wet from showering and trying to catch her

Ugh!

"I'm going to get dressed" I say walking into the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror. I was so much different than I was before, there is no doubt that Rose has changed too. But she changed for the worst. I know she smokes but she tries to hide it and fucking around is not the answer to every feeling...But then again I wouldn't know.

I remember how fake I was before I met Blake. I acted like a good girl, no parties, no boys, I let everyone walk over me, I laughed with my hand in front of my face, I had fake friends, I used to talk gracefully. And now....well I'm different. He changed me. We have been dating for a year or so, and he bought out the me I had locked away. I wish Rose can finally find someone like that...especially after what happened.

I sighed for at least the a hundredth time this evening slipping on my dress. I was wearing a black dress that had a low neck and straps with sleeves dropping off my shoulders. On my neck I had clasped a simple black choker. I look good.

I walked out to see all the girls had changed and Rose was doing their make-up.

"You look hot!" Rose squealed accidentally poking our friend Flo with the mascara brush.

"This is why I don't wear make-up!" Flo scremed at my little sister.

"Whoops"

Flo was dressed in a forest green tightly fitted long dress that had a slit going up her gorgeously long legs her back completely empty. I picked her dress. What can I say? She has a model body she needs to show it off a bit.

"Ugh! This make-up is suffocating me!" She whined and I turned to see her face only had a bit of concealer and mascara on her already long eye lashes. She was wearing a nude lip too.

"That's just everyday makeup Rose!" I shout ignoring my bae.

"She wouldn't stop moving!" She says whilst applying her own.

I rolled my eyes and started working on Flo's hair. I decided to bun it and curl some to cascade her face.

"Now remember to find yourself a boyfriend this time" I tell her looking at her through the mirror as she admired her hair nodding.

I hadn't let Rose pick her own outfit. So now she was dressed in a red glittering fitted dress that went just under her knees.

There was a knock on my bedroom.

"Who is it?" I ask out of habit.

"Hey princess hurry up everyone's waiting" he tells me making me smile like an idiot at my pet name. Seriously he's just too perfect.

"We are coming Romeo get lost!" My jealous bff cuts in before I can answer.

I chuckled at her childish behaviour and we made our way downstairs.

"You look hot" Jimmy and Rose complimented each other at the same time, fist bumping in the process.

We walked into the living room seeing the guys sprawled over the sofas with their feet in the air.

"Finally!" Jake sighed getting up. He then got a view of Rose which made him freeze slightly. Poor thing.

"Stop gawking you might attract flies" she puts a teasing finger on his chin. It takes him about a minute to recover.

"Sorry, just suprised to see you in something your ass isnt showing in" he smiles his squared smile.

So cute!

"Hey" I feel someone breathing on my shoulder making me shiver as I bite my lip nervously."I always think your beautiful but today you've blown me away princess" Blake plants a kiss on my neck.

"Not so bad yourself" I turn myself around to meet his grey eyes.

"Can we go now!" Jimmy, Nat and my girls whine.

"Let's go!" I exclaim forcing my eyes away from my trance.

Half of us went in Blake's car and half in Jimmys. And of course my sister and Flo came with me and Blake to 'supervise' us.

Seriously?!?

"So when are you guys gonna break up?" Flo asks from the back her face popping in between mine and Blake's seats.

"We. Are. Not. Breaking. Up." Blake told her for the a hundereth time since we'd left the house.

"Why?!" Rose asked joining my best friend.

Wait, why doesn't she like the fact we are together?

"Because I love her now and I'm going to love her tomorrow and-"

"Then you'll break up with her?"

"NO! I'm gonna love her forever so shut up you two!" He shouted making me feel all fuzzy inside. We had been through rough places there was no way I was going to let him go that easily.

"B-"

"Look we are here!" I exclaimed shutting up the dumb duo.

"Yey!" They both sped out the car leaving the two of us alone.

Finally!

"So should we skip?" Blake asks watching them disappear.

"That would be better..." I see his eyes sparkle through the corner of my eyes.

"But whoose going to bring the drunkards home?"

"Fine" he sighed pouting his gorgeous lips.

"Oh come on you big baby" I say pulling him behind me as we entered the crowd of teens.

Tonight's the night to let loose.
