Chapter 1

"Good morning Jumi." I said as I wake up from my bed.

"Good morning Master." a scentetic voice filled every corner of my room. I groan when I heard the 'Master' word.

"Lights on please." the lights was turned on immediately

I arrange my bed before going straight to my bathroom.

"Any schedule for today?" I did my every morning routine while listening to Jumi. I walk into my walk in closet.

"You have a meeting with board members at exactly 10am and a lunch meeting with Atty. Evren." my hand stop from mid air when I heard the name of my Grand father's Attorney.

"What for?" I ask and continue roaming my eyes to my closet, looking for my out fit for today. "I don't know Master. He just came yesterday and said he just want to see you that's why he need's an appointment." what's with that guy?

I put my clothes on when I heard Jumi's voice

"Master the breakfast is ready." I glance my self in the mirror before leaving my room.

I sigh.

As I step in the staircase I remember Abuelo.

This house was built for me. I was raised here by my Abuelo. He was the one and only left from me when my mom and dad died in a car accident. But now he left me too. Last week was  his burial. And after that I need to move on.

I continued walking to dining hall and saw Jumi preparing my breakfast.

Jumi is made by me. Yes. She is a robot. A Humanoid one. She can do anything. House chores, my secretary and also my body guard.

She was connected to my house and office secure, so she can control every security inside and outside.

Abuelo once told me that I need someone who will do anything I need and I command, who will not get tired and who will stay with me for a long time.

I am 19 years old. When I started making Jumi I am just 15. She is more like my mother, my sister and my bestfriend. I treat her like my family. My own family.

"Master please eat your breakfast we need to hurry to the office. Ms. Smith is waiting for you." I frown when I heard the name of Ms. Smith. What's wrong with that freak?!

"Why?" I ask Jumi but she did'nt answered me. Her attention was too focused on the plates. She puts the plates into the Dishwasher then grabs my bag and open the door, she stood there like waiting for me to come out.

As I step out I look at her "What's wrong with you today? You're acting like a human now, do I need to check you?" I ask while scanning her. As I look at her face she avoided my gaze. I gasp in disbelief.

"Last night I read an article Master-" I cut her off.

No way. She's doing it again?

"Oh? You mean article for Mens, stop it. Stop immitating them, remember you are a girl. You don't even look cool with that, you look like lesbianwhen you do that. Stop it."I laugh at her as I hop in to my car.

Last time she did watch some Barbie movie then next day I was confused as hell when I saw her in the kitchen. She dressed up like a princess in a castle. A big long gown, fake crown on her head and she even blonde her hair. I faced palm.

"Yes. Master." she said then I heard her activating the security of the house. I glance at my house before closing the door.

I lean forward to start the engine of my car. A hologram map came into my view asking for location. "To my Company please." I said.

"EGC location searching...... searching complete. Please put on you seatbelt."

"Okay. Drive." I said then it's started to move, I came back to my seat in the backseat then do my make up. I put a light make up ,to make fun of Ms. Smith. I am sure she will get furious if she see this face of mine.

A few minutes later I heard Jumi's voice in the passenger seat informing me that we're here. I step outside the car then straight to my private elevator. I press the button to my office, as the elevator open I saw Ms. Smith sitting in the couch.

When she sees me, I saw her smile faded then change into frown. I arched my eyebrows to her and smirk.

"What the hell Erika Gutierrez!" she shouted. I surpass her and sat down on my swevil chair.

I look at her with innocent face. "What?"

"What do you think you're wearing? I mean you bitch! I told you stop wearing that kind of make up!" I can't suppress my smile then I started laughing. Oh they made my day.

"Hey don't be mad, I just wanna pissed my so called bestfriend haha." Zoe Smith is my Best friend since Elementary. She's just finished her vacation from S City.

"You know what? I should'nt be here, I still have a jetlag you know?" she said while I'm taking out my make up kit and started to make up again.

"By the way here's what you need." she said while handling me a two paper bag. "You think?  It will work for your experiment?"

After retouch I focused on her. "Of course it will work." I said.

"Why did you take their suggestion? You know what I trust you but this is dangerous one. Don't play like a cupid Erika, please think about your safety first." I can't stop thinking about it but I need to do this. I already accepted the job.

"I--

I was cut off when I saw Jumi entering my office. "Master the meeting is going to start, board members are waiting for you." I nodded to Jumi then faced Zoe.

"I'm sorry Zoe but I should go, I have a meeting now, let's talk about it next time okay?" she just nod then kiss me on my cheeks.

"Jumi let's go." I grab my bag and entered the elevator. I press the buton to Meeting floor.

When I came out I saw my clients bowing and greeting at me.

I directly go in the meeting room, as I get in to the room all the board members bow and greet me. "So? What are we waiting for? Let's start."

After few minutes.

"Meeting adjourn." I spoke then stand up and get straight to come out. Jumi is still following me until we reached the Experiment Department.

After roaming around Jumi spoke. "Master we need to go now. Atty. Evren informed me that he was already in the restaurant."

"Okay let's go then."

Jumi was driving and I was in the backseat listening some music. Then I felt the car stop.

I can't help to arched my brow when I see a Five star hotel in front of me.

"Jumi? Are you sure he's here? I ask Jumi then she just nod her head.

When I step in to the restaurant a lady with a perfect shaped body , long black hair, small face, those pointed nose, thin lips, emerald eyes and thick eyebrows are well shaped. I envy her.

"Good Morning Ms. Gutierrez, I am Sheena, Atty. Evren assigned me to assist you into VIP room. This way please." I did'nt speak anything I just followed her.

When she opened a room I immediately come in then I saw Atty. Evren holding the Menu. When he saw me he stand up and pulled a chair for me.

"So? Let's get straight Attorney." I pause and look at him directly in his eyes.

"What's the purpose of this meeting?" I said still looking at him. He cough for awhile then spoke.

"Actually it's about your Grandfather's Last will."

"What?" Last will ? Did Abuelo have that?

"Yeah, you heard it right. This is the last will of your grand father." He pulled some envelope from his attache case and handed it to me.

I open it and he continued speaking while I'm scanning the paper.

"I know you don't have know anything about his assets, shop and malls, houses and lot, his company all over the asia and his Island. Those enterprises are all yours now, it's written in your Abuelo's last will. And of course his laboratory."

"Wait ! I know his laboratory , I'm using it now- he cut me

"Nope. The big one. Here." he gave me a piece of paper.

"This is the location of the Island, your Grandfather's Laboratory base is hidden here. This is a secret place and a private lab so you have to keep it."

I can't believe this. I can't believe Abuelo keep all this to me. All I know he left his laboratory to me that was located in the underground of my house.

After the meeting of Atty. Evren, I'm still confused and not convinced. I informed Jumi to cancel all my schedule for a whole week. I need to check this property of Abuelo I need to confirm if this is true.

"Jumi we need to go home let's pack some of my clothes.We're going on a trip."

"Yes Master."

"And Jumi? Please inform Drake we need a chopper." As I told her she called Drake.

After a minute I can hear a roaring sound of the chopper. I'm sure it will land on helipad on rooftop. As I walk onto the roof top I saw Drake waiting for me.

Drake Chu is my childhood bestfriend but since they migrate in F City, Zoe and I rarely contact him. Zoe has a huff on him for leaving us since then. He's now back here in A city to handle his father's Airline business.

He smiled and widened his arms like he was waiting for me to hug him.

I deflected his arms then hop in to chopper. I saw Jumi hug him then hop in too. I muffled my laugh when I saw his reaction.

"Come on, we need to go." I said as I heard him say 'okay' while scratching his hair. What? I'm not Zoe, I'm just joking arround.

As I am relaxed on my seat I close my eyes and remembered all Abuelo's memories with me. I reminisce my happy moments with Abuelo when I felt my conciousness fading.

Then Black out.

Erika wake up in the unfamiliar room. She roam her eyes inside the room until something catch her attention, it's displayed well in the bedside table.

She take it and scan the whole picture. Wearing his favorite Lab uniform while he is smiling directly into the camera. 'My Abuelo' she can't help to murmur his abuelo.

She can't prevent her tears so she let off them and brought on her chest to hug the picture.

She quickly coated her eyes and smile when she heard a small knock on door before open it by someone.

She saw Drake leaning on the door

"Come on everyone's waiting for you." Drake said like there's nothing what he saw.

She got up from the bed and put back the frame in the bedside table. She followed Drake who's waiting outside.

When she step in the head of stairs she saw many people bowing at her downstairs. She recognise from the left is luxurious maid and butler uniform, from the left is scientist uniforms. What is this? What's happening here? She looked around and then she realize where she is.

Her gaze return to those people downstairs.

There's so many of them. Are they Abuelo's personnel? she thought

"Bienvenido a la mansión señorita." (Welcome to the Mansion, Señorita) they said in unison.

She was taken a back when she heard them.

Good god.

She felt consensus, his Abuelo fooled her that aside from being a scientist they're broke. 'Well sweetie you're wrong' she's imagining his Abuelo saying those words in heaven. Oh my Abuelo.

As she roam her eyes, undoubtedly she's really in her Abuelo's Mansion in the middle of the Island.

Mansion is not enough word to describe this big place. She thought as she look around inside of the mansion. If fairytales are real, she's surely think she is in the Palace.

She saw two maiden maid smiling and approached her.

"Dinner is ready. This way Señorita." As they escort her in the dining room.

When they arrive inthe Dining room she gape when she saw the whole dining room.

"Señorita, I am Jen and this is Den. We're assigned by Butler White to serve and assist you from now on." Jen said while assisting her to sit in the middle seat.

On the other hand Drake and Jumi take a seat on her both side.

"I thought you're broke? I never expected this." Drake said while laughing in disbelief

"You're not alone Drake."

"Good God. My account is shaking. I think you are more richer than a Billionaire." He's right, looks like I am.

"Master? Want me to investigate?" Jumi ask.

"No. I don't wanna hear anything about it. Everything I've found out today is enough." I faced palm.

I can't even think straight from what had happened today.

When the maids come in to serve the food. She saw Drake adjust in his seat. This jerk is really something. She thought as she rolled her eyes.

Jen and Den served her food, she is about to smile on them when she noticed someone is serving food for Jumi.

"Wait she's not eating." She stoped the maid who is serving Jumi. All maid in the room look at her. Wondering is evident in their eyes when I said it. I smiled at them awkwardly.

"I mean she's a humanoid robot." I said in an awkward tone.

Silence.

Drake laugh and spoke to destroy the silence in the dining room.

"Well that's not the first time, I got fooled too. Amazing right?" He said it then they all stare at me like I have no head.

"You really inherited your grandfather's wisdom and talent. You are really the heir of Gutierrez Enterprises." Den said.

I smiled and said "Thank you."

Time has passed but she is still lying on the bed, with opened eyes. She can't sleep. Thinking about her grandfather is a serious matter that occupied her mind all day.

What else? What else can he hide from me? What else would she needs to know?

Drop of tears rolled down from the corner of her eyes. She miss him. She misses his Abuelo.

Everyone is address her 'Abeulo's girl'. Well she is. He raised her, educate her and loved her. She remembered when she's still studying. Her Abuelo always accompanied her in the morning then fetch her when the class ended in the afternoon. Until she graduated in College his Abuelo still accompanied her.

They might say her life is a kind of word 'Boring' but for her? Being with Abuelo is the best day of her life.

She decided to got up from bed and look around inside the room. This room is her Abuelo's.

She stand up and walk around the room. It's a traditional bed room, with king size bed, chandelier hanging on the ceiling, a glass window and a single bed sofa that was surely arranged by his grandfather.

She is about to go to the bathroom to take a shower when she noticed something. There are three doors connected to the room. She got curious and open the first one. She saw a huge walk in closet. And to her shock there are so many clothes that exact size on her. 'He really planned all about this'. She thought.

Different style of clothes and shoes , she opened the other cabinet and saw his Abuelo's clothes. She smiled on happiness.

Second door is a bathroom there are also things that was left by his grand father.

As her fingertips touch the knob of the third door she got nervous out of the reason.

Please no more surprises.

She muttered as she opened the door. She calmed when she sees a study room.

A study room with classic and traditional style like her room now. Books that was arranged well in the book shelves. A big round lamp that was hanging in the center of ceiling. A round shape of the room and divided into two that was connected in the staircase. She can't help to smile on his Abuelo's talent.

After few minutes walking around she found something. Blinking color red in the side of the bookshelves. Her forehead wrinkled and tried to identify what is that? She lean and take a look closer when the red dots became like a laser and scan her face.

She step backward when the book shelves move right side like a door.

What is this? A hidden door again?

She step closer to take a look when she saw nothing she breathe in relief.

She step inside and shriek in surprise when it started to move downwards.

Is this an elevator? A secret passage?

Then she felt it stop and to her surprise again the door opened and behind it. A big laboratory.

She covered her nose when she smelled the smell of medicine mixed with different chemicals. She looked around and saw.

Apparatus, machine, chemicals, medicine, organs, bones and...

Human in a machine tube.
