Lyla's Background

Lyla: Come on, we can check out mission's at the F class board since you're still an F rank adventurers

Sky: Ok, I want a high paying one!

Lyla: Easy now, remember you're only F RANK we can't be hasty let's start nice and slow, Ooh how about this quest it only requires us to guard the orphange at the east, and it has a pretty decent reward with 20 silver taels and even though it's pretty degrading for a C rank like me i'll go with it so what do you think?

Sky: Hmm, okay seems easy enough...

WAIT WHAT?!! YOUR A C RANK ADVENTURER?!!

Lyla: Yup, I've finished quite a number of quests here in the adventurers guild, here look at my adventurer's card

Sky: Wh-What?! It's really true your a C rank adventurer, but wait a minute if you really are a C rank adventurer than why are you working as a tour guide?

Lyla: Well... that's a long story

Sky: It's ok we still have time before the guild closes

Lyla: Fine I'll tell you,

(insert flashback music... lol)

Lyla: I was studying in the Reigough's Academy for Talented Soul Masters when i suddenly overheard my mom and the principal talking, they said that i'm not worthy to be a student of the academy beacause i only had average talent and that i would only embarass myself during the annual school competition but my mom still begged the principal to let me stay, i saw her on her knees and... was crying while she was begging, I could'nt handle it anymore and burst into the room

i told my mom and the principal while crying that i was gonna leave and that i would make sure that they would never see me again since i'm such a burden,

of course i pitied my mom 'cause i know she went through "extreme" measures to get me there and get me to stay there but i did'nt want my mom to suffer like that beacause of me so i ran away...

Lyla: *sob* If only i did'nt have average talent, if only i was the genius my mom wanted me to be! *sob*

Sky: Oh, I'm sorry i asked i was just curious.

Lyla: It's ok, so what happened next was of course i ran away but being the young and stupid child i am i forgot that i did'nt have any money so that's why i work as a part time tour guide.

Sky: Oh, So that's why

Lyla: But what about you? why are you in Toshen?

Sky: Actually my story is pretty similar to yours, I ran away from home beacause my parents thought I would only embarass myself and that i should drop out from the academy and blah blah blah blah.

Lyla: Oh wow, our story's are really really similar, that surprised me

Sky: Hehe, I was surprised when i heard too.

Guild attandant: Uhm, excuse me the guild is about to close in a while so are you going to pick a quest?

Lyla: Oh yeah! here we want to take this one

Guild attendant: Ok, F rank quest guarding the orphanage in the east is taken by... can i borrow your guild cards?

Sky and Lyla: Oh sure!

Guild attendant: F rank Sky and C rank Lyla, wait why is a C rank taking an F rank quest?

Lyla: It's just so I could teach my freind here how being an adventurer works.

Guild attendant: Okay then, here you go.

Sky: Thank you!

Guild attendant: No problem.

Lyla: Come on Sky i'm gonna take you to the inn we're staying, we need to take a rest before doing the quest
