On The Prince's Bed!

It was almost night by the time we arrived at the Prince's Palace. The Palace was like a white fort with two different logos I would say. Identical ones on the left and right, right below the terrace on both sides and a different type in between. The architectural design was phenomenal to say.

Everyone welcomed the esteemed Prince upon his arrival.

"Your Highness?!" screamed the group as they saw towards us in surprise. Everyone was surprised to see a woman being brought to the Palace as His Highness had never brought one before. But I was more surprised than anyone else because of the fact that I was being "carried" by the Prince in his arms!

A bridal style carry?! Why is he holding me like this?!

Is it for show? What's he thinking!

"Bathe her and change her clothes." he said as he referred towards the three maids.

"Y-yes, Your Highness!" they replied in chorus.

The maids helped me bathe. It was quite new to me but it wasn't a big deal. Though the problem was that while doing so they bombarded me with thousands of questions. "Your clothes are unique misstress. Does His Highness like them?" "How did you meet His Highness?" "How should we refer to you?" all three came at once.

"My name is Yin Moxiao."

"Three characters? Are you from Hongyan?"

I found out later that Hongyan was one of the three known empires.

And well, they kept on going and going. It seemed as if The Third Prince was known as a cold person, which, off course was true. I had experienced it first-hand. They were admiring the fact that I was receiving the adorations of the cold prince and that they saw him being romantic with me. The entire Palace had heard the rumours.

"Don't gossip around the mistress." came a voice from the distant side of the room. "Prepare some comfortable cloths for her. Haven't you noticed that she's tired?"

Well I was tired. After all so many things had happened in just one day after I opened my eyes in this world. Mythical creatures, magic, encountering the crazy people and the Third Prince, and whatnot.

She later apologized on behalf of her fellow mates, which wasn't actually necessary. Due to their gossips I had found out many things.

"I'm done bathing. Can you show me the way to the bedroom so I may rest?" I said as I came out of the bathtub.

"Miss, you may not be able to 'rest ' tonight." said the head maid. "His Highness has been waiting in the bedroom for you."

I cramped up.-_-

Now she was taking me towards the "bedroom". I somehow was able to calm myself.

"Miss Yin, His Highness is inside. Please hurry" she said with a happy grin on her face as if the whole had become a peaceful place.

I don't want to!! I want to run away!

"What are you hesitating for? Come in." came a voice and a sudden force which opened the door and pulled me in the room towards the bed.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

While landing on the ground I stepped on my nightgown as I wasn't used to wearing long dresses and fell on the bed.

"I can walk on my own." I snapped on the Prince.

"You kept me waiting." being his reply.

He doesn't listen to what others are saying!

"What are you doing by calling me here at this hour? Let me make myself clear. I agreed to be your pawn, not your mistress!"

I refuse to sleep with a man who I can't tolerate even if he's handsome!

"I'm not attracted to you. I won't be doing what you're thinking either." he answered.

"Hm? Then?"

"Pay attention. In the Palace, only my bedroom is safe. But that's only when I'm present off course."

"Then what do you want from me? What did you mean by 'Pawn'. "

"I'm tired. Sleep on the couch and don't bother me. If you survive the coming week, you can ask me that question again."

From our conversation I concluded that this man had character issues.

"I'm exhausted. I only want a good night's sleep." saying that I slept on the bed.

Surprised by my action he cried out "EXCUSE ME?!"

"There's only one bed, and why should I sleep on the couch?" I revolted. "You put on such a show by bringing me here. Isn't it just a spectacle for everyone? Tomorrow morning when the maids see me sleeping in your bed, they'll think it's legitimate."

"As a woman, how can you... act like this- Do you have no shame!" he revolted back. Though I ignored it and fell asleep.
