Episode 1

Hi guys.

I just wanted to say that this is my first novel. I hope you enjoy reading it. Sorry in advance for grammar issues (still learning). If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will be more than happy to answer them.

I woke up blinded by the rays of the sun that illuminated my room.

I tried to get up but felt more tired than ever. I knew I had to get up already.

Today, I am starting my third year of high school.

"Ughhh, I do not want to go to school! So depressing!"

I curled up with my blanket over and over and then looked out the window.

The weather was nice and the air passed over me. I could feel the summer coming to an end.

I started to get organized. I took a quick shower, got dressed and ate breakfast and without noticing ... it was already 8:00.

"Ah ... it's getting late ... I have to get going."

Going back to school brings back a lot of bad memories. Memories I want to forget.

Memories like love.

It's not easy to forget them. You're trying to act like nothing happened. As if that memory is just another fantasy of love. A fantasy that didn't go well.

"Noah! Hey Noah! What's up?" I heard a familiar voice behind me and immediately raised a small smile.

"Hi...Oliver..."

"You're alive!"

"What do you mean?"

"The whole vacation you didn't go out with friends, you didn't even send messages! I worried about you ..."

"I'm fine, sorry you had to worry. I didn't have time to send you text messages. I worked and had a lot  going on ... sorry. Anything new?"

"Dude, you missed so much! Where do I start ?!"

Oliver talked a lot. He told me all the rumors that are running right now between classmates and outside of it. As I expected from him, he knows everything.

"And I really thought he did it! But he said he did not so ..."

"And you really believe him?"

"I don't know..."

As we both laugh and walk around the school hallway, I come across some people I know. It was nice. For a moment there, I forgot about everything.

A lot of new people passed in front of me and for a second, I thought I saw someone. Someone familiar. Someone I hope to see. I turned quickly back. Looking around, trying my best. he is not here.

After a while, Oliver introduced me to some new students. Seeing him try to make everyone laugh, it was fun.

"Noah, this is Matthew. He's a new student and he will study with us in the same class."

Matthew? I turned to him quickly. It can't be.

Oliver stood next to this tall, handsome guy. Yes, this tall, handsome guy I remember. He hasn't changed at all. What is he doing here?

I could see him noticing me. Left without words. He, too, was surprised. Unexpected meeting, after two years, it was the first time I saw him since ...

"Noah...!"

My ears turned red as I heard his voice. What a nice voice. My whole body was shaking and feeling hot. My heart beat fast. It felt weird and different but familiar and good. Thoughts ran through my mind and the headaches were strong.

I missed you, Matthew.
