Mm... I love how warm these puppies are...
I woke up feeling one of them lick my face. I giggled, reaching out to cuddle them tightly only to jump up.
Darn it, after my efforts to run away, I ended up falling asleep on the soft and adorable balls of fluff!
I noticed that I was back in the bedroom, surrounded by the puppies.

You're awake.
I jumped and turned my head to the shadowed corner of the room.
Cassian Bastillos, legs crossed, stared at me with anger in his voice and eyes.
I hugged Pumpkin, Bradey, and Monica (I had named the pups) tightly.

Cassian got up and went to remove them from me, but only to receive a very terrifying growl as they seemed almost like they were protecting me.

He then looked at me and frowned.

He turned towards the door.

He stopped, then turned around to look at me right in the eyes.
The heartless Cassian Bastillos... why is he keeping a girl in his manor?

You might be pregnant with my child.

The drug that was used on us yesterday is a drug that is effective as long as the person who has been affected by it gets pregnant.
