the beginning of the journey

At first light, I gathered my thoughts and opened the gate to my realm.

My face felt the warm winds of the countryside, sounds of birds and animals creating the symphony of nature, but not far away from this heaven it lays the capital, very noticeable by its high walls and towers and specifically the magnificent fortress Palace on the top of the hill surveying all the roads and hosting the new king...

It's been years now, my older brother is no longer a new king he is the king now for 7 years. I didn't feel time back then on earth, as I used to live as I wish, enjoying liberty as it is! Not being controlled by the protocol of the court nor having to bow to any king.

But now my brother is in control, It is not completely safe for my new world. I have to investigate, and I have to do it fast! I don't have time by side, but now I know that they can teleport using mirrors I know where I will start my investigation.

But first I have to take a look at the court, I need to get in unnoticed, gather the maximum information,

and retreat quickly out of fhe city.

Where should I exactly start!? Should I use my real face, well none of my brothers knows my face all thy saw is my smoke... but no I don't like this idea. But It's difficult to hide my aura and my presence, but not impossible, it can be done but what face I should take... the protocol in the court is very tight, and nearly suicidal to a normal hero. But not for, I can do the impossible it's just a question of self defiance! I really hate it there.

I passed my hole life in this palace i know every corner and hidden spots, I even know the timing of guards and workers. It seems i have to kidnap someone and take his body, by transforming to my smoking form I can get in all the bodies by any hole in his flesh, and their actions are mine. But I can miss the challenges i ll just spy on someone's.

I'll take more than one victim, but they should not know my doing. I want them act as they usually do so no-one would notice any difference, nor get any suspension. Still now no one know my arriving, but if those guys that I met in on earth where sent by someone, their death would be noticeable.

All went as planned, I corrupted the mind of 2 guards and 2 workers with magical whispering. As a prince I had the privilege to study magic and material arts under the best teachers and magicians, I excelled in magic and developed my own techniques and arts, so seducing or corrupting minds are something very easy.

The eyes and ears of the 4 victims are shared with me as they are wondering around the court doing their normal activities. It is the best way to spy without being cough. By the hours I understand more and more of what's going on in the country lately, what took my attention is the change in the policies, it seems that my brother went through major changes during his time as a rural. He looks so young as he has never aged at all, he is 37, but still he looks in his first 20s. My second brother wasn't in the court and no one mentioned him. It bothers me a bit because if he is not in the palace their in noway I can see his doings, his entourage is very secured and strong more over, and he is so cautious.

If it is him behind that accident, then I might face a serious problem, I don't have enough time to stay here a long time and know more about the court I have to pay a visit to an old man...

The snow tribes are located far in the North of the empire, they were shattered some 50 years ago by my father when he was just crowned. They must be now located in small villages on top the northern montaignes. I have to travel there, it must take 3 months by the speed of an army of 2 months at the back of a horse, but at my speed it will not take longer than 5 days to get there. I'll be soon out of cigarette... what a nightmare.

Not only that, but I should pass by 3 cities, the first one is a walled city with high defensive towers and a ditch, located on the crossroads of 3 roads, and a trade center with a big river port. It is the home of many noble families and the fief of my uncle, its markets are full of all goods and luxuries, it has gardens all over with high and old trees aged hundreds of years.

It's been years since last time I v been here, but still I can remember every street and every hidden hole. My ability to remember is beyond the average human abilities to memories. Many would see it as a gift, but trust me it is not what people think it is like. Remembering every single detail of your life and those u lost and all the emotional wounds, the pain and all the pride u built. It is not something easy to deal with, even a prince get drunk or high to forget, but now I have more important matters to deal with I should not spend more time than I should.

My goal is to investigate unnoticed I don't want to dragged to any problems i can avoid by staying on the road. so i kept moving thinking what i would encounter, what mysteries this old man hides. and most importantly what that techniques he use to open gates to earth.
