the legend was born

After years of war and conquest, hundreds of thousandths of deaths, many widows and much more orphans. The king sits on his throne wondering if there is any other land to conquest. He had many children; only few of them lived enough to hold a sword, but only 3 where able to lead armies and to hold the title “prince of the kingdom of dragon”. The oldest Julius was his wise son his strategies where so brilliant that his men didn’t ask about their fate, they only obey and they win every time, they say his wisdom is that of a god. His second son was the strongest his aura was so strong that no one dared to face him before; his army was the smallest 2 thousand men, however even gods didn’t dare to stop them when they move, they have only moved twice, details about those wars are lost because no one was left to tell the story, the king himself ordered him to never go to war again. His third son, had everything wisdom, power, love of the people as much as their fear, no one but 3 people ever sow him: his father the king, the doula and god of gods. They say god himself screamed of fear the day he was born. When he wonders the streets of the capital only black smoke passes by, he don’t stand to grab a drink the drink come to him, he appears with a flash, and vanishes with another. Some worshipped him and others loved him, but his mind and soul were elsewhere. He wished he had nothing of these luxuries. He wished a simple life. He has only gone to war once against “the kingdom of the twins” a kingdom of two cities. The first resisted … and second surrendered … half of the population of the second city has suicided after they saw what happened to the first city, the second half refused to admit the existence of anther city because of the fear to die or worst, to go crazy.

One day the king has died of old age his first son got crowned and his second went to be the second in line. But the third is nowhere to be found, only a letter in his castle said “I don’t want to rule, I don’t want to rebel, don’t search for me or my rage won’t stop until u are all dead” even his generals and most trusted cousin didn’t knew his planes he just vanished. And the third son of the king becomes a myth in the kingdom of the dragon.

One day when I was in the university I noticed two new faces they looked suspicious, they cited behind me, their aura was so noticeable by me, they are not strong but not weak, and I think I know where they are from, but I don’t know why they are here…? With their level of strength they can subdue everyone here and be king in this universe! I heard them speaking about the gates and their location! And what truly mad me so curious was the name of a place: The smoky hotel, it is a prison in the kingdom of the dragon which means they are either freed criminals or they escaped! Not long enough they mentioned how they killed the guards … my fears were true they are in a run right now, most likely they are broke and they will use force to get some money! I don’t know how they teleported to this world, but surely if there is a way to teleport here, many more will use it to get them back!

In a moment of deep lessening my mind shroud away to my home, I remembered my dad the king my older brothers, small army and my kingdom. In that moment one of the two hold my shoulder from the back and whispered in my ear go out now or I will cut your head here and now! God damn it I left my guard for few seconds and they have sensed a small bit of my aura.

The taller guy said: “I know you are not a human like them you most likely from the kingdom of the dragon or a province, and now either you will tell us who are you, or u won’t make it home tonight”

I said: “well I can’t lie, I’m caught, I m a fugitive from the kingdom all I want is to survive and have a happy life please let me go home I don’t want to die”. However the other guys whispered in the ear of the tall guy, then they both looked straight at me and said: “not that fast,” with a cunning face he charged his hand with light power, and at that moment I remembered the ghost of the lightning village in northern part of kingdom, those who caused major loses to my father when he was charged of subduing that parts of the globe in his first years of the reign. I taught they were killed but it seems my dad had mercy in his heart after all. This low quality attack won’t damage me at all not even a scratch, he stopped his attack and looked me the eyes and said: “are you someone sent by the king to track us? Sorry but I can’t risk, I should kill you right now who are you anyway?”

I said with sharp eyes: “little ghost, u have no idea about who you are dealing with, I’m only a smoke…”, and a black smoke appeared out of nowhere.

At that time emotions disappeared from the face of the tall guy while other one passed away, the only question I had in my mind at that time was how they entered this world, cause as far as I know I’m the only one that can open gates to this universe, he said: “a wizard I v met in prison he is able to create mirrors to transport you to this world”, not long after I killed both of them and teleported them to a universe I only can move to …. I can’t risk, no one from the kingdom must know this world… I went to bed and my mind is full of questions, is it true that someone can open a gate to this universe? Are my brothers planning to attack this world? Where the wizard learned how to create gates like this?

I don’t know what to do, I don’t even know where I should start looking for this matter, I left the kingdom to have the happy life I live right now but still problems follow me. I’m sure this matter is so mysterious and won’t end up quickly and I fear that it leads to one of my brothers. I don’t want to look at them again. They are just so thirsty to power and fame. They don’t know I live in this universe.

After I returned home, I couldn’t do anything but thinking about what happen. I don’t want to go back there, they won’t leave me alone and possibly my brothers will attack me, what if one of them is behind this, or both of them. I lighted a cigarette and looked at my window and wondered:

If I go back, will I ever comeback? How many months the investigation will take? Could it be years?

What? Should I retake control of my army? I wonder who is in control of it after all …. And what would I tell them if they ask me why I left? I don’t know … I have many things to think about in same time. Time … is my only enemy right now.

It seems I won’t sleep in my bed tonight, I will go to the capital but in cover no one should know my identity neither why I am there.
