Ch-01. Sky & Moon.

In a hospital room. A man lying with tubes on his body, his firm, tan face was pale, his eyes closed.

Slowly his eyes were open. Even now he looks so helpless, yet he looks quite handsome with a tan skin. He was tall, perhaps about 189 or 192 cm (6 in.).

“Bureau vice chairman Nick, you're awake. Thank god.. Thank heavens. Finally you woke up after three days in a coma.” The figure of the man lying on the bed turned his head slowly and looked at the two people at the bedside.

The brown eyes of the bureau's vice chairman Nick was foggy when he looked over the white room, seemed that he looking for something.

“Fatty, how's Luke. How's his condition?” The man called Nick asked one of the two with his voice that sounded quiet and rather hoarse when he didn't find what he was looking for.

“Luke... Luke... He’s.. Gone.” Fatty bowed his head, his face looked sad.

Nick turned his gaze toward one more person, his facial expression and his eyes explaining that he wanted to ascertain the truth from Fatty’s words. Sadness appeared on his face when the one in sight nodded.

Before long his eyes seemed filled with tears, his hands free from his i.v. were clenched so tightly, he whispered only one word, “Moon.”

His memory goes back to when he and his colleagues engaged in a shootout while making a raid on a warehouse owned by a drug mafia mob leader.

That's because he didn’t think it was a secret raid operation that had actually leaked out and when they got there, it was just an empty warehouse, causing him and his teammates who were supposed to find a lot of evidence in that warehouse so they didn’t find anything. The door of the warehouse closed as they made their way out, trapping them and being surrounded by some 150 armed men.

The current situation was very unfavorable for him and his team of only 25 people. In the midst of the shootout, he immediately ordered his men to flee immediately, while he himself would head the mob's men.

He immediately took the shot when he saw all his men had already fled, and even though he was wearing a flak jacket, but he was still hurt in some part of his body. He was surrounded by a mob leader and his man’s, leaving him no longer able to evade when the enemy pointed a gun at his back.

“Sky!” He turned his head when he heard someone shouting and running at him very fast.

“Moon! No!!” He, Sky, only can shouting when the gun exploded and sent a bullet in its direction.

His eyes welled up, seeing the man who was shouting his name running up to him and throwing himself at him, blocking it with himself just to protect him and all that was like a slow motion to him. His hands immediately reached up and embraced the bloodied body. Suddenly he was screaming and irrepressible anger overtook him.

While still hugging the bloodied body, he immediately raised his pistol in his hand and pointed his pistol and shot down bullets at the mob leader and also at the mob's men.

Sky’s big hand gently strode Moon’s cheek. Sky, he was so tough and had never shed a tear, but by that time his cheeks had been wet with his tears.

“This is.. The First.. Time.. I.. See.. You.. Crying.. Sky.” The sound of Moon halting but his lips smiling, his hand also moved upward despite the slightest movement and wiped away Sky’s tears.

With his big hand, Sky took Moon’s hand in and pressed Moon’s palm against his cheeks, his voice quivering as he said, “Moon.. Why are you so stupid.”

Moon shaking his head and smiling, then spoke with his lower voice, “Sky... I.. Just.. Want.. To..”

But Moon couldn't keep saying it, he coughed a few times and every time he coughed up the blood came out of his mouth. What happened to moon worried Sky.

Using his index finger, Sky covered Moon’s lips, he spoke in a low voice that still left a tremor of his sadness, “Don’t speak. Ambulance is on its way."

With a slow motion, Moon shook his head and looked up at Sky. With the last of his strength, Moon tried to speak even though his voice was so low as to whisper, “I don't have much time. So you need to listen to me, Sky. You must live and find out who the perpetrators are making the information leak out.”

Moon stopped and coughed again and blood came out, but he ignored it and kept on speaking, “You must also arrest the perpetrator and the leader of the mob. Promise me you'll do it, not for me but for you and the others. Promise me, Sky.”

Sky nodded instantly, “I promise you, Moon. I will find out who did this and I will make them both suffer.”

Hearing it makes Moon smile, he then softly rubs Sky’s hair and face, after which his mouth moves as he wants to talk but no sound comes out of his mouth, also his eyes slowly begin to close. It made Sky very worried about Moon’s condition.

“Don't go to sleep, Moon. Hang in there, Moon. The ambulance was about to arrive.” Sky kept saying the words with tears rolling down his own cheeks while holding Moon’s bloodstained body.

Sky didn’t know what kind of condition Moon was anymore when two ambulances came and took them both on the way to the hospital.

Elsewhere, a body lay on the sofa bed in a small room. It appears that figure is a young man. Suddenly the eyes of the lay figure slowly opened. He slowly raised his hand, covering his eyes from the bright light.

His feet slowly move, followed by the rest of his body. He sat on the sofa and looked over at the rest of the room.

“Ah… Where is this? How did I end up here? Wasn't I…” the male figure is humming in a quiet low voice.

As he was about to walk, his foot stood on something that was lying, right under the sofa. As he lowered his head, he saw a small bottle as well as grains of pills scattered under the sofa bed.

“It's.. Aren't these high dose sleeping pills?” Again, the young man muttered slowly, looking at the little bottle in the grip of his hand.

He then stood up and walked, but he suddenly stopped and looked at the mirror hanging on the wall not far from him. His eyes widened when he saw the reflection in the mirror.
