Episode 14

It was past 11 p.m., a dazed stock clerk was arranging the goods on the shelves while forcing himself to think of anything but the damned message that kept echoing in his head:

Only I can kiss you!!

"What the hell," he exclaimed as the memory intruded once again, making him drop a can of lentils that rolled across the floor.

Since that message, Jason hadn't replied, just left it on read. Several insistently inquiring messages piled up in their chat, but he ignored them all, especially when Bill's name appeared.

He knew it was foolish, he told himself so repeatedly. Any person in his place would just go with the flow, like a vacation to some paradisiacal destination where you need to live it up before returning to your own reality.

But Jason wasn't like that. When his heart took over his mind, his reason fought back to protect him, and in that battle, he would drive himself mad.

He hated how he could be so dual. Fearless, straightforward, always voicing his thoughts, friendly, sociable, and fun—though he wouldn't show it because of all the responsibilities he carried. Yet his damned fault wouldn't let him live— he couldn't control his own personality around Bill.

He had a tendency to evade that person, spoke only when necessary, and preferred to keep Bill at a distance, all because being on someone's radar made him feel like a complete fool, incapable of maintaining a conversation without appearing shallow or failing to spark interest in the one he liked.

He knew that wasn't true, but a little voice told him otherwise, and his confidence evaporated instantly. If it hadn’t been for the game, he’d never have exchanged more than two sentences with Bill, but now they not only shared intimate details, but so much more.

Jason started to follow the can that refused to stop until, nearly falling, he saw a pair of sports shoes halt its roll. His eyes trailed up the legs before him, taking in each muscle, and he swallowed hard as he finally looked up to meet the smirking face of the benefactor holding the cursed lentils.

His heart raced, his pulse uncontrollable; every cell in Jason's body panicked.

"Lost something?" Bill taunted, shaking the can.

"Yeah," Jason reached out to take it back, but Bill pulled it away.

"Just give it back, Bill, I still have so much to do," he frowned, moving closer to snatch the can, yet Bill kept it just out of reach, laughing.

"Maybe," Bill leaned in, bringing his face closer, "if you give me a kiss, I might consider being nice." His smile subtly broadened, and his green eyes shone with raw sensuality.

"Fine, do whatever you want," Jason walked back to the counter as if he didn't care, but his legs struggled to carry him, every part of him trembled, and maintaining control became exceedingly difficult—Bill still wore a playful expression as he watched the nicely shaped rear walking away from him.

"Why didn't you respond to my messages?" Bill half-climbed onto the counter to tease the embarrassed clerk who was trying to count change.

"I had to work," Jason said without looking at him, praying he'd get bored and leave, unaware of how much he wanted to kiss him.

Bill bit his lip; watching Jason's concentrated face was downright beautiful. He was still trying to figure out why his heart stuttered whenever Jason was near, why he got so upset over Nara's photo. He knew Jason would never look at a girl, especially not that red-head, but he felt possessive and didn't want to lose him.

"Tomorrow, I'll wait for you, sweetheart," Bill grabbed the clerk's nape, startling Jason with the warmth of his lips.

"Bill," Jason said, annoyed, pushing him away, "I'm working, you know that?" He gestured ironically towards the security cameras.

"Yeah, I know. That's why I came. I missed you," Bill prowled behind the counter like a lion stalking its prey.

"What are you doing? You can't be here, get out," a flustered Jason gestured with his hands, his face flushing with embarrassment.

"You look beautiful," Bill cornered Jason against the cookie shelf. "You're my favorite treat," he whispered, lips grazing Jason's.

"I-I should get out," Jason stuttered nervously, nearly whispering.

"Ask me to leave, and I will," Bill slid his hand under Jason's shirt, feeling the smooth skin and tight abs, and unaccountably, his whole being began to heat up as never before; only Jason made him feel so ignited with just one gaze.

"Ahmmhh…" A moan escaped Jason's lips; he closed his eyes, enjoying the warm kisses on his neck.

"Ask me, Jason, and I promise I'll go. But if you don't speak, I won't be accountable," the brunette intoned, teeth grazing Jason's neck with light pressure, prompting Jason to enfold him in his arms.

Their eyes met; Bill couldn't stop staring, never before had he felt such an attraction, never had he connected so with someone else's gaze. His breathing became labored, every muscle tensed; he was aroused, too aroused and ached to devour the boy breathing in sync with him, letting him feel his warm, sweet breath.

Bill's gaze dropped to the plush, pink lips, losing his breath as he saw Jason lick them as if extending an irresistible invitation.

Jason's body, fully aroused, seemed to burn with the touch of those hands. Dizzy with ecstasy, he couldn't control his limbs; he felt like jelly in Bill's embrace.

Bill made the final move, pressing his lips to Jason's in a gentle kiss that grew fervent as both desired more. The brunette's tongue began to explore the sweet lips, and Jason, unable to resist, pulled Bill's neck closer to deepen their kiss, both tasting each other as if it was the last time, maybe considering that soon this would be nothing but a sweet memory.

The kiss grew hotter, more passionate; Bill pressed Jason's hips to his, and their groins brushed, signaling mutual arousal. Both fought the uncontrollable desire to possess each other, but it was increasingly challenging.

The sound of the bell alerted them, and with great effort, they parted. Bill quickly crossed to the other side of the counter as they watched a couple of girls buy snacks, chatting and laughing.

They exchanged glances, smiling like children who'd almost been caught by their parents doing mischief.

The girls approached to pay for their chips and drinks, and Bill, still transfixed by Jason's every move, was oblivious to the teenagers undressing him with their eyes, whispering about how sexy he was. Jason smiled and handed back the change. As soon as the door closed, his body was yanked into the employees’ restroom, and without a word, Bill began to kiss him desperately.

"Don't smile like that at other people," Bill said through clenched teeth as he pulled Jason's hair back, tilting his head to better mark his neck with his lips.

"Bill, ahh… please… mmmh, I have to work," Jason said between moans, grabbing Bill's face to make him stop and look at him.

"I can't… You're…" Bill couldn't finish, as Jason's tongue invaded his mouth, and they melded into a deep, hot kiss that tried to express their feelings, their desires, and how far they were willing to go if they weren't held back by time and place.

Jason didn't want to separate from Bill, but they couldn’t continue this way in such a cramped space, so he slowly moved away, leaving sweet kisses on Bill's cheeks and the tip of his nose, which made Bill close his eyes, savoring each tender touch.

"Now you have to go, baby. I need to get back to work."

"Baby," that word echoed in Bill's ears, and a grin ear to ear-formed as Jason returned a gentle caress to his cheek.

"I want to see you tomorrow, and I won't take no for an answer," Bill kissed Jason passionately before parting and rushing out of the restroom, doubting his body would keep obeying him.

Leaning against the cool bathroom tiles, Jason touched his lips and couldn't stop smiling.

"I'm definitely a goner," he said to himself, realizing that his mind had lost to his heart.

Bill reached his motorcycle and pressed a hand to his still-thrashing chest, eager to understand what was happening with his body, with his heart. He couldn't be falling for Jason, couldn't be jealous over a stupid photo; that wasn't him, he kept telling himself since the adventure of his lips and hands began exploring the curves of the blue-eyed boy. It's just that whenever those eyes met his, his mind went blank, and his body took charge.

Taking a deep breath, he murmured, "It's just the game, Bill, just that," he smacked his head and swung onto his bike, driving away.
