Food Outside

I had a good sleep—I woke up quite early. I sat up and stretched my arms as I yawn the tiredness out of me. I looked down and I saw Yun-wook eating his breakfast.

"Ngh...Good morning.."

I greeted Yun-wook as I rub my eyes.

"Morning."

( Such a dry response. )

"Where's Hwanim?"

"He's outside."

"Why..?"

"I dunno. He just told me that he'll be outside."

"Oh...Alright."

I climbed down the bunk and sat next to Yun-wook.

"...Where'd you get that?"

"The food area, of course. There's one more left, better get it before someone else does"

I made my way to the door. I waved my hand as I exit the dorm. I didn't rush to the food area, but I did make my way fast. By the time I reached the destination...

"tsk—someone already took it..."

I quietly complained to myself. I slowly turned back and took a few steps. I then bumped into someone.

"Ngh..Ah! I'm sorry!"

"Oh?"

I looked up instantly and saw Hwanim holding a cup of coffee.

"Dae-hun...good morning"

Hwanim greeted me with a small smile as he slightly tilts his head.

"Good..morning."

"...Where are you going? Did you finish eating?"

"I haven't ate yet."

"....I can get some food for you"

Hwanim told me as he sips his coffee and puts it down on a nearby table. He put his hand on my shoulder.

"We should buy some food outside, sounds good?"

"O..oh, but what about Yun-wook? He's still eating his breakfast"

Hwanim took a breath.

"Let's come get him first. He might find for us."

"I'll come get him-"

Before I could take my second step, Hwanim held on my wrist stopping me from walking any further.

"Ah, no...you stay here. You can have my coffee."

"-Sure..thanks."

Hwanim let go of my wrist and went on his way to get Yun-wook.

( Have his coffee hm. )

I sat down and took Hwanim's cup. I hesitated, but I eventually took a small sip. I felt nervous, I'm not sure why.

After a few minutes, Yun-wook and Hwanim were walking down the hall.

"Hey. I'm back."

Hwanim waved his hand.

"Hwanim told me that we're gonna but buy food outside. Is that true? This isn't anything like a meeting or something?"

"..No, we're just going to buy food. Dae-hun haven't eaten anything."

My stomach rumbled as the two talk.

"You must be starving...let's hurry."

Yun-wook teased me as he puts his hand on my cheek.

"...Hey."

Hwanim put Yun-wook's hand down.

"Let's go."

Hwanim went out the door. Me and Yun-wook followed.

We got some food, we made our way back to the dormitory. All we bought was just a bottle of Fanta and three small burgers. Hwanim bought a pack of gummy bears for himself.

The three of us was sitting on the bed, Hwanim and Yun-wook were almost finished with their food.

"...Mmm?"

Yun-wook put his hand over my shoulder.

"Dae-hun? Are you not hungry anymore..?"

"..Ah...No, I just.."

"You aren't eating your food. Perhaps you want some of my gummies?"

Hwanim offered, but I refused. I told them that I was just zoning off and thinking random thoughts.

Loss of appetite...happens to me often. But I managed to get it back and ate my food.
