Two In The Morning

I was having a comfortable sleep, until I woke up in the middle of the night. I felt like I was the only one in the room, it makes feel calm, but concerned at the same time.

Minutes passed and I felt more and more worried. I eventually checked on Yun-wook and Hwanim.

"They..."

( They're not here..? )

I wasn't sure about what time it was, but why would they be gone at this hour? I started overthinking and went down to make sure.

"They really aren't here."

I can clearly hear the timid tone of my own voice, it was so quiet, very quiet that I can hear my breathing.

I wanted to find them very badly, I went out the dormitory unarmed. Nothing on me, I brought nothing with me. I was so focused on finding them, I didn't think about what would happen while I'm seeking.

Hwanim said. He sounded very calm and the volume of his voice wasn't loud or low.

I whined. I stormed myself towards them and held them tight, it's like I've been looking for a long time. Time moves slow when you're alone.

"Are you thirsty? I have a cup of water on the table."

I reached out for the cup of water and took a small sip.

"Let's go back. It's two in the morning."

We went back to our room and went to bed. I climbed up the ladder to get to the top bunk. I talked to myself as I drift to sleep.
