Dance Competition

"Ah...no no... I just have dust in my eyes..." Then he grabbed my arms and hugged me tight "You don't need to pretend around me, just let it go" he said. For once, I have never ever felt this secure from a person. I have never seen a man so understanding and caring. This was my actual first time. "Thank you.." I said as he was patting my back.

He said "No problem, Sarraine" as he was letting go of the hug. "I have to eat lunch now, I'm quite hungry. Wanna come with me?" he asked. "No need, you go on." I said as my hand was signaling for him to go. We waved goodbye and I went to the canteen to buy my lunch. There was quite a lot of people, but I still managed to get my lunch. I went back to the classroom and ate the food quietly.

Soon, Kaiden came and said "Woah, you got your food early." "Yeah...there was a lot of people in the canteen though" I said. He sat down and asked "Oh yah, I was wondering.. How did you and Mason met?" "Um...well, I was in the music room and we met there. I told him to not tell people that I can play instruments. He agreed but there was a repay which is that I had to be his friend" I said to him. "Ohhh, okayy...You're a lover for music?" he asked. I said "Yahh, I love playing music though I'm not good at it."

He laughed "I'm also not good at playing instruments. Mason actually knows how and he's a pro" he said. I nodded while eating my lunch. "Do you always wear jeans and shirt as your go-to outfit?" he asked me. "Uhh.. yeah, I have fashionable clothes at home, but I merely wear them since it quite of attracts attention. Why? Is it not good?" I said. "It looks pretty on you" he said.

I coughed persistently and Kaiden started to panic "Oh fudge, are you okay?? Drink water." I drank my water and swallowed some of my food as well. "Jeez, why would you say that? I'm not used to people complimenting me" I said with a flushed face. "Well, you have to get used to it when you're with me" he said smiling. "Well then, thank you for the compliment" as I bowed on him. He chuckled "No need to bow, I ain't a king."

I laughed with him and said "Oh yah, didn't you say you wanted to get to know me better?" "Oh yah, I did. Well, ask me questions" he said confidently. "Hmm, what do you love to do?" I asked. "I love listening to songs, playing basketball, and hanging out with my friends. You?" he said. "Hmm.. I love dancing, singing, drawing, and listening to songs as well" I said. "There's a dance competition coming, you could join if you want to" he said.
