I stare at him, waiting for him to state his reason.

Annàbelle

Annàbelle

I saw you crying earlier and... well... I wanted to know the reason.

Annàbelle

Oh, thanks for your concern but... I'd rather appreciate it if I don't have to go through that ordeal again

Professor Dumbledore

You're getting sorted today.

I stare at him, trying to comprehend his meaning.

Annàbelle

Does that mean...?

Professor Dumbledore

Yes, you'll be studying at Hogwarts from now on. Applicable immediately.

Annàbelle

Oh.

I am confused. Why am I not excited? I mean... this is what I wanted!

But... it was supposed to be filled with letters from mom.

Professor Dumbledore

Wear these robes and come with me.

Annàbelle

Then, Dumbledore leaves, with the robes hanging in the air.

I change into the black robes.

Annàbelle

These're heavy!

Then, I go out, looking around, as if seeing the room for the first time.

Professor Snape

You are ready?

Annàbelle

Yeah.

Professor Snape

I follow Snape to a huge pair of gates.
