*muttering* I had hoped it was dad... coming to apologise and take me back home but... Maybe I expected too much from him!

I said that I didn't wanna see him ever again but... some part of me hoped that he would come.

Annàbelle

Professor Snape

I need you to describe your parents to us and give their names.

Annàbelle

What?! Why?

Professor Snape

Annàbelle

I will do it... Just give me some time to... Deal with the loss of my mom.

I felt tears prickling my eyes, threatening to spill out. The memory of mom was too painful.

Then, a memory appeared... me and mother fighting.

No Mom! This isn't okay! I want to meet my dad! I never saw him! Everyone I know has their dad in their corner, waiting for them! Where's mine?!

Mom

He's in London! Working to give YOU a better life!

FLASHBACKS END

Snape snaps his fingers in front of me, breaking my trance.

Professor Snape

Professor Snape

He said 'Loss' as if disgusted by the word.

Then, he leaves, looking down.

Then, he steps in again.
