Introduction

While I lay there motionless, sounds of siren was all that filled my ear, it was as though my brain was made to hear only that sound and these sounds had drifted me off to hit the light.

I slowly closed my eyes with image of him laying opposite to me, eyes shut and still bleeding from the head, I tired to call his name, but all I could say was I'm sorry. He lay motionless and I shut my eyes to a deep sleep.

A few hours later......

" Mr. Xiao! Mr. Xiao ! Can you hear us? "

An unknown voice had filled the room and possibly my ears too, I wanted to respond and say ' Yes! Yes I can hear you '

But I couldn't move myself due to the intense pain that streamed through me. I did flutter open my eyes and a blinding white light hit me. I shut my eyes tight again. And the voice called for me again

" Mr. Xiao, try opening your eyes again, you can do it. "

The encouragement from the voice was enough for me to try to open my eyes, I try to open my eyes slowly and then further analysis I realized it was a hospital, a hospital....  What had happened? Moreover my thoughts were on, where is he?

The woman who seem like a nurse helped me to sit up straight. Further I noticed I had been bandaged in my arms and legs. I had an immense pain in my neck and jaw, causing me pain to even open my mouth to say anything.

" Where is he? Is he safe? "

I didn't care about myself, no! I didn't, I cared about him, my love, my eternal bliss, my Yibo.

" Mr. Xiao ! Mr. Wang is still in ICU, you'll have to wait till his heart beat becomes normal. "

I understood everything they said, but I couldn't process it, it was really painful for me to even think bad about this situation. As I was looking at the doctors, he commands the nurse to sedate me,  I was drifting to sleep, not because of the sedation but the voice of Yibo calling me in my dream.

" Zhan ! Mr. Xiao ! Late! Again, this is the fifth time you're late this week, I'm sorry I can't allow you inside the class, as a punishment please stand out. "

Mr. Lee wasn't interested in excuses on why I was constantly late to all our classes, I can't help it that I'm really slow, and plus I'm a person who has to do all the work in my house since I had lost my mom in a young age, it's not easy taking care of a younger sister and a father alone.

As I stood outside that was the first time I saw him, if you would have asked me, if this was the man I would have fallen for, I would have said no way, not possible.

On our first meeting alone he won my heart with an angelic smile, I liked that the guy had something different in him, yet he projected as a playboy to me.

" Excuse me! Is this the science class?", His smile wasn't the only angelic thing about him, he had an angelic voice too. With a shy nod I nodded a yes and he smiled thanking me back.

Voice of Mr. Lee was heard soon after he entered the class. " Class this is your new transfer student from Shanghai High School, everyone let's welcome Wang Yibo " .

Yibo....  Yibo...  So his name was Yibo......

His name stuck in my mind like a mantra to survive and his smiling image stuck in my head like it was my necessity to remember it.

 " Zhan! Zhan..... "

My name was called again, taking me away from Yibo again, I fluttered my eyes open to see my father crying along with my younger sister.

" Baba! " To his relief my dad hugged me tight, but not tight enough to hurt me. My sister who was crying so far came closer to me hugging me along with my father.

" My Zhan, I was afraid I lost you, thank the almighty that you're safe. "

I smiled weekly and sat straight as the doctor came in to check my pulse and my condition.He seem to be happy that I have improved so far, that's when he sat down on the chair next to me, on what happened so far.

" Mr. Zhan, you and Mr. Wang had an accident, two days ago, you were in good condition just some mild wounds and scratches. But the same can't be said about Mr. Wang, since he was the one driving the car he suffered severe head injury, he's still in critical care, but he's doing better then before.

If words were knifes, his words were surely piercing me through the heart, one after other he gave me news which I couldn't bear. Yes....  Yes I remember now, what happened that night.

We were driving, our car skid off the road falling and rolling off the hill, I jumped out of the front window sue to the impact while Yibo rolled down the car, with my injuries I dragged myself to help Yibo out, I dragged his body out of the car, just enough time before the blast happened, and pretty much after that my memory had become blur.

The doctor Smiled and requested me to take rest, my father and my sister smiled and kissed my head before they went out. I didn't know what was happening to Yibo, but all I could do was pray, pray for him to return back to me.

Soon I drifted off to sleep while his name and voice was all that filled my dream.

Next day......

The doctor shook me up with a happy news that Yibo had opened his eyes and was well now, just some scratches and wounds like mine, other wise he seem good.

I tried to walk fast in the room he was in, seeing his face through the glass of the door made my heart flutter again, bit all that happiness died as soon as I heard him ask this.

" Yibo! Are you okay babe? "

" Excuse me ~ Do I know you ? "

My world crashed.....  He forgot me?
