It’s pouring rain so Draco is about to drive back when he notices someone sitting on the bench, covered in rain

From what I understand, these vampires can read a persons energy, but they need to touch them to understand everything or influence their emotions

Yes, but the really advanced ones can combined their skills to form even crazier elements. Like ice or fire tornados

I said I was an expert, but vampiric abilities are rare you know. It’s not like every vampire has them. Only a few that come from very prestigious bloodlines

No, not to make them feel pain at least. It’s more like a telepathic ability

Telepathic? So can they also read a persons thoughts?

Yes actually. But it’s harder to do it on people who have strong wills. If a person doesn’t want their mind to be read, they can set up barriers in their head

It takes a lot of focus and control. Since people don’t really know about this ability, no one really knows how to defend themselves against them

Yeah. So if you are ever in a situation like that, you have to be at one with your mind. A vampire with this ability may make you feel pain in your head just so you can bring down your barriers so they can read your thoughts or memories
