I suppose my current predicament can be traced back to high school

I was in 11th grade when my second gender made itself apparent as an omega. Until then I was always raised and treated as a beta. Sure, I experienced the occasional bullying… Okay okay, i was always a heavy target due to my small stature and the way I looked, but I was content with life until that very moment

Flashback to 3 years ago

-high school bathroom-

Haha, oh come on, doesn’t a quick dunk in the toilet sound refreshing?

*sniff* please, dont do this to me *struggles*

Nick (Bully 2)

Uh oh, remember what we told you about struggling?

Jay Ito (ML)

No, please don’t do it *tear falls*

James Tanaka (Bully 1)

Oh no, it seems you forgot what we said about crying too. HAHA

Nick (Bully 2)

HAHA

Both bully’s take turns dunking Jay in the toilet and slapping him a few times. Due to his small size, there isn’t much he can do in defense, but he knows struggling is pointless anyways

*about to dip Jays head into the toilet again*

*walks into the bathroom* HEY what are you doing?!?!

Nick (Bully 2)

Leaving. We are leaving *walks out dragging nick with him*

Okay Jay, so do you mind telling me why I found you in this situation?

Ah well it’s nothing serious just some classmates picking on me. That’s all

By the way, why did they seem so scared of you?

You don’t need to worry about that right now. What you should be worried about is all those bruises they gave you. Here let me take a look

Andrew quickly approaches Jay, causing him to instinctively flinch

Sorry I didn’t mean to pull back or anything. I…I just…it’s just *sniff* *sniff*

Andrew Alpin (ML)

*gentle tone* hey hey, it’s okay! You don’t have to explain yourself. Why don’t you just grab my arm when you feel comfortable and I will take you to the nurses office

Andrew slowly extends his hand so he doesn’t startle Jay. After calming down a bit, Jay finally takes his offer and they walk to the nurses office together

After that day Jay and Andrew grew closer as friends. Jay knew very little about Andrews personal life, but they got along well in school and would frequently hangout in the lunch room or library despite having different classes

As for the two bullies, Jay never interacted with them again. Whenever he asked Andrew if he knew anything, he would claim to know nothing. Jay always found this a bit suspicious, however.

💭wow, he kind of seemed a bit scary for a moment. Maybe I’m just looking a bit it far into it because if my past trauma with bullies. I know Andrew is not like that, but I feel like he’s always hiding things about himself

💭I think that was the first time I’ve heard him voice his opinion on something. Sure, it was a bit harsh, but it wasn’t directed towards me since I’m not an omega.
