Prologue

With souls made of flames, we are just stars that have people names.

I wonder that if maybe I could change things. like really changed things not just make an impact. would I?

But then again why should I what to?

Because we all know that in the end, the most you will get is giving people a holiday they don't even know why they have, so why would I want to change things?

The world is not fair.

I sat at the edge of the docks as I tried to answer questions that others were expected to know the answer to. But I never did, I guess that's what made me so different... so strange...

I question things, others don't, I do things, others won't. I like being different. Strong but some times I have to resist the urge to bash everyone's head in with a rock in a hopeless attempt to cure there stupidity.

But I should have known by know that it's an incurable disease, and I seem to be the only one that has an immunity to its influence.

I dip my toes in the water as I gaze out in to the pond, I'm bored, this world is boring, I have done everything broken every law read everything there's nothing, nothing to quench my thirst for a change, and I have fallen as low as crawling and scraping for any last shred of entertainment.

I just want something...

Anything...

Just as I was about to leave my eyes spot something shiny down in the lake, as I said I'm desperate for entertainment.

I stand up and look out at vast beyond a grin stretches across my face.

I don't think twice before jumping in I swim deeper and deeper.

Finally I reached the object I had been hunting and I was surprised I had seen it, for it was very small, compared to the vast lake.

It was breath taking so I might have lost a little oxygen, it looked as though birds of silver and and gemes had been woven in to a crown.

I reached out to it and picked it up as soon as the object was in my hands the water around me be an to contort and formed as if a hand dragging me deeper and deeper and I fought the water desperately trying to Break the surface to receive much-needed oxygen I fought my hope being dragged deeper with me.

soon I gave up and excepted that the surface was to far away I closed my eyes and smiled, seems I got what I asked for...

I closed my eyes as I gave in to darkness and the cold wrapped itself around me.

I don't regret anything so I may go in peace.

My eyes fluttered open and I saw trees and a little of sunlight creeping through the leaves and underneath me It felt soft and earthy I pulled my self up by my elbows and looked around.

It was Beautiful.

I was surrounded by dandelions and trees the sun seem to crawl through the leaves desperate for it's in brace. little yellow flowers that litter floor with as much plentifulness as the dandelions.

it was beautiful, breathtaking there were no words used to describe such a magical environment.

I stood up and looked down at my self to check if this was real and I mediately used my hand to cover as much as I could, I was dressed in flowers. just flowers.

I was bare foot and I could fell things on my head. I ran A little pond I had seen, I looked down and my mouth fell open. My hair was imbedded with leafs and twigs.

I had leaf jewelry and the bracelet I had found in the river that claimed my life.

My ears had some type of wings

Am I dead.

Is this heaven.

"Calliope!"

Someone grabbed my shoulder turning me around I looked at the girl in front of me she clearly had Asian descent and was dressed similarly to me.

"Calliope! We're have you been I have been looking for you!"

"I'm sorry you have the wrong person."

"Calliope we don't have time for this! Lord Apollo in going though The Valley lets go!"

After that proclamation I was dragged deeper in to the forest, soon we reached a path and walking though it was a man. Not to lie he was handsome but he seemed so... over confident. The perfect exemple for a fuck-boy.

Each time he smiled at one of the other girls hidden in between the trees they would bush and hide, he sat down and took out an instrument he began playing and every body squealed in excitement.

"O Calliope! Lord Apollo will sing! What a gracious day it is!"

I lifted one of my eyebrows in a questioning manner.

"What?"

I did not received an answer though, because the girl was to engrossed in the song the man was playing. I Believe his name was Apollo I noticed that he was dressed in some sort of loin cloth, this man should be arrested for public nudity.

I soon realize that I would be receiving no answers from here and began to walk away better start looking for a town before it gets dark.

As soon as I was a few feet away the music stopped, I paid no mind and continued to walk away.

I stoped abruptly wen the ground and trees began to shake and the sun seems to be burning the trees

"Tell me nymph, what is it that displeased you? For you to be so bold as to disrespect me?

"Are you challenging me?"

"No"

"Fine then we will have a competition I Will offer you the same I offers the last person that challenged me, the winner gets to do whatever they what to the loser, deal?"

"N-"

I couldn't finish my sentence because he had already started to sing.

apparently the judge selected was Apollo's brother I Believe his name was Dionysus his parents must've really had a fetish for Greek mythology.

Wen he was don I just took out my phone which had miraculously stayed intact and put on some Beyoncé and moved my mouth with the music

By the time I was done everybody seemed stunned, I kept my face emotionless. Dionysus broke out in a fit of laughter, he then in between hysteria announced that I was the winner.

Apollo looked as if the sky had fallen, he Approached me as if it brought him physical pain.

"Tell me what is it that you wish for, power? Wealth? Status?"

"No." I said in a clipped tone

That seemed only to irritate him more. He looked at me before horror washed over his expression.

"Could it be... NO! No I will not enter matrimony with a measly nymph!"

"Um no." I

Dionysus broke down and fell on the floor with laughter wiping tear of laughter in an overly dramatic way. Others seems stunned.

I sighed, this was stupid. That idiot probably didn't know anything his brain was to small to comprehend such information, But.... I'm desperate.

" were is the closest town?"

He seems taken back by my statement, I smirked and started to walk away.

"Keep walking north and follow the dirt rode?" It sounded more like a question than an answer.

"O ok thanks"
