Strange Noise
Hello guys, sorry for disappearing for like 2-3 years straight 💀, I got busy with life and lost motivation to write this story and even deleted this app for quite a lot of time.
I've still been wanting to continue this for a long time, however due to a lack of motivation and content I couldn't do it. However, recently some of my friends persuaded me to continue this so here I am. <3
A week goes by and Michiko gets used to her new daily life. She and Lucia become the best of friends and she finds herself mingling with some of her co-workers too.
After having lunch with Lucia and few other colleagues, Michiko was returning to work when she suddenly heard a loud bang from somewhere in the hallway.
Michiko
*looks around* What was that noise?
Michiko
Just now I heard a loud bang, didn't I? It sounded as if... someone was hitting a door.
Michiko
*remembering the incident with Lucia a week ago when Michiko got paranoid after reading some rumors on the company website*
Michiko
I'm being paranoid again ain't I? Let's ignore it, it's probably just me overthinking.
Michiko ignores the noise and focuses on working, but the voice only got louder and louder. Now feeling annoyed, Michiko decides to find out the source of the voice and file a complaint if needed.
Michiko
That's it. I have been trying to focus for so long but the voice is only getting louder and louder, where the hell is it even coming from?
Michiko gets up and goes to the hallway trying to figure out the source of the voice that kept distracting her from work.
As she got closer to the voice, she found herself approaching a neat and organised room with a sign in front stating that the room belonged to the CEO of the Starwind Company, Lucas Jones.
Michiko
Oh.. I am probably not allowed entry but this voice is really distracting... I have no choice.
Michiko
*Knocks on the door* Excuse me sir, are you there?
No reply was there from inside the room
Michiko hears footsteps approach her from behind and recognises a familiar face standing in front of her when she turns around
Lucas
Do you need something from me? *Asks coldly*
Michiko stared at his face for a few moments as she remembered and recognizes him as the pervert who she caught staring at her before.
Michiko
It's you again? What do you want from me?
Lucas
*Looks at her with a raised eyebrow* What? I just asked you what did you need from me? And what do you mean by 'you again'?
Michiko
I don't need anything from you mister. Are you acting like you don't know me? I clearly caught you starting at me last time you pervert! Now you even have the guts to approach me. I have to applaud you for that. You'd better believe I'm not letting you off this time.
Lucas
*Stares at her in disbelief* Clearly there's been a misunderstanding or there's some twisted fantasies boiling in your head for you to be accusing me of something like this miss Michiko.
Michiko
Oh, so now you want to pass it off as a 'misunderstanding' huh? Afraid of being reprimanded now that I've caught you red-handed? *Michiko glares at him*
Lucas ignores Michiko and went inside his office and sits on his chair staring at her standing outside his room. Michiko stared off at him as she suddenly recognized him from another place. The Company Website.
Lucas
*Visibly frowns and clicks his tongue* I'm quite sure I've done nothing wrong. Now, if you are done spouting nonsense I've got work to do. My time is precious you see. Please leave.
Michiko starts sweating as she finally recalled the face of the CEO that she barely remembered from the company website. Lucas Jones. The man she was calling a pervert this whole time was her boss and the CEO of the company she was working at.
