After getting her lunch Michiko is looking for a place to sit when she sees Lucia sitting alone on a table.

Michiko

Lucia!

Michiko

Hello, we see other again.

Lucia

Huh, oh hello Michiko.

Michiko

Can I sit over here?

Lucia

Of course

Lucia

You're having lunch at the canteen too?

Michiko

He-he yes, I woke up late today and had to rush, so I couldn't prepare food for lunch. Then I saw the reviews on the website of the company that the canteen has good food and decided to eat here. As I saw you alone I approached you thinking we can have lunch together and become friends, maybe.

Lucia

That's sad…but did you forget to set an alarm, as you woke up late. Also, I'd love to be your friend!

Michiko

I actually did set an alarm, but it seems that I accidentally set it for 8:30 a.m. instead of 6:30 a.m. and woke up late. (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

Lucia

Hahaha, that happened a few times with me too. So now I make sure to check if it's set on right time or not before I go to sleep.

Half an hour went by while both of them were chatting and eating and the break time was almost over.

Lucia

Oh, the break is almost over.

Lucia

I should go back to my duty now, goodbye Michiko!

Lucia

It was nice talking with ya! See you.

Michiko

Goodbye, Lucia! I had a good time talking with you too. See you!

Michiko takes the elevator up, and after she reaches the floor her office is at and the elevator stops she steps out and notices a man standing in the hallway staring at her.

The man keeps staring at her without blinking or looking away even after Michiko makes eye contact with him. She assumes that the man is a pervert and walks away towards her assigned room in a fast pace after giving him a disgusted look.

Michiko

*Who was that, and why was he staring at me like that? That was so creepy I hope I never encounter that person again*

Michiko

*But he looked so familiar, like I have seen him somewhere.*

Michiko

*It might be someone I saw in morning or at canteen maybe, if I see him again I'll be sure to remember his face and report him*

Michiko gets back to working

Time Skip to 10 p.m.

Michiko

Finally, I completed all the work for today. I'm so tired! Who gives their employees so much work on their first day? I expected today to be mostly free as it's just my first day. What an evil boss I have. *Referring to the CEO*

Michiko

What time is it anyway?

Michiko

*checks the time* What the heck! My shift ended at 7, and I'm still here working at 10... today is worst, first I was late in morning, and now I'm getting off work late! Not to mention I saw some reviews claiming that there's a ghost roaming in the hallways late at night. I hope they're just some rumors. (⁠;⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠)

Michiko packs her stuff quickly and leaves her room. As she approached the elevator she sees a black shadow go into one of the locked storage rooms from the corner of her eye.

She felt terrified but convinced herself it was just her mind playing games with her and keeps walking towards the elevator while calming herself down in her mind.

She stood in front of the elevator waiting for it to arrive at her floor when she felt a presence behind her and then suddenly she felt a hand grab her shoulder.

She turned her head back slowly to see...
