In a grand yet troubled school, unspoken rules dictated who held power. Those with money and attractive looks were kings and queens. The weak students, especially the ordinary ones, became easy targets. Not only classmates bullied them, but even teachers joined in with insults and harsh treatment.
Rafi was one of the victims. Small in stature, simply dressed, and a voice often drowned in noise. Every day, he faced ridicule from mild teasing to heavy pressure that made him feel worthless. “Study hard, don’t be stupid!” a teacher said, banging on the desk. Beautiful classmates walked by with disgusted looks.
That day, Rafi felt an unbearable weight. The principal glanced at him with a cold stare, and the guidance counselor mocked him in front of the class. Rafi sat in a corner, his dark eyes full of tears. He noticed a nearby window open a chance to escape all this suffering.
With a heavy breath and a wounded heart, Rafi jumped out the window. The wind greeted his face as fear and hope mixed inside him. Before leaving the school, he whispered softly, “Come on, fight back, don’t let yourself be bullied anymore.”
Rafi disappeared from the crowd, lost at a small wooden house on the edge of the forest. There, he found a peace he never felt at school. That wooden house became the place where he started anew, building courage and strength in silence.
