Oh my stars

Evanna’ pov:

My senses malfunctioned and what was supposed to be a flight or fight reflex turned into a scream as I yelled at him to get out.

He waited for my vocal cords to give out and I could see his shadow through the thin curtain. When I finally stopped screaming his hand came through the curtain with my towel and he gently motioned for me to grab it.

I cautiously yanked the towel from his hand and wrapped it around myself not bothering to dry off. I heard him sigh and then the door creak open as muttered something about waiting for me to be “decent” before we talked.

Once a few minutes of silence passed I shakily turned off and climbed out of the shower and peeked around the humid room.

Between the fog and steam all that greeted me was emptiness. I went over to the door and saw the shadows of feet outside. I couldn’t face him. Not alone and certainly not like this.

I gently collapsed against the door being certain not to make a sound. I arched my back and got into a position to place all my weight against the door. After nearly five minutes of staying silent and against the door he spoke.

“Baby girl, are you okay? What’s taking so long?” He asked and the pangs of worry that I picked up on in his voice made my heart crack. Still I persevered, refusing to give into the temptation to open the door and run to him.

After another minute of silence he gently knocked on the door making my back arch a bit with the movement.

“Baby girl I’m going to give you two more minutes to get dried off and come out or I’m going to come in.” He sounded worried and a little annoyed with my stubbornness. I still stayed strong and prepared to fight as tears threatened to pour from my eyes.

Two minutes passed and he twisted the knob and pushed gently only to be met with the forceful push of my back slamming the door shut. I could tell he was shocked but that soon turned into laughter. I shuddered. He sounds deranged.

“Baby girl open the door.” He tried the same sing songy voice that won me over originally but hearing it now made it sound more threatening than innocent. I still refused to respond. That’s when the pushing started.

He shoved harshly into the door and I arched my back to press against it. As much as I hated it at the time I’m so thankful for the late curfew punishment drills my mom makes me do. Without them I wouldn’t be able to resist him for even a second.

He slammed his body into the door and my feet started to slide. I switched positions to shove my shoulder into the door but that could only do so much. He was far too strong for me to take.

“Open the door Evanna.” He screamed at me, making tears pull even harder. He only uses my full name when he’s mad.

Then the door finally slammed open granting him access to me I could feel the anger radiating off of him. He jerked me to my feet using my shoulders and pressed me to a wall. “Are you insane? What would I have done if you got hurt? Are you crazy?” He screamed at me shoving his face into mine and that’s when I repented.

I slightly leaned forward to make our lips connect and I could feel his shock. He kissed back pushing my body more into the wall and I slightly parted my legs. He smirked and wove our legs together placing one on the outside of my body and the other between my legs.

I smirked to myself as he moved closer. When he was close enough I sharply jerked my leg upward between his. His lips left mine and in an instance he was on the floor rolling in pain.

I raced out of the bathroom and threw a robe on not bothering with undergarments and I ran from my apartment. I took off down the hall as adrenaline coursed through me.

I ran to the elevators and pressed the button frantically. Luckily no one takes the elevator because it gets stuck often. As the doors parted to reveal the empty cart I slid in pressing the close button.

As the doors closed I let out a sigh of relief and steadied my breathing. The doors were three fourths of the way closed when the presence of another body filled the elevator. I sat stunned as the doors closed leaving only me and the all too familiar voice grunting “Hey baby girl.” Through clenched teeth and the imediate feeling of the elevator jolting to a stop.
