Episode 4

It has been two days since I married Hugo .

Actually , I remember before I went to prison , I heard rumours about President Li being cruel and cold-blooded , but since I became his wife , he treated me so nicely and gently . But ... we are sharing the same room . Actually , it is fine by me . We are married , so it's fine as long as we don't have body contact .

Today I am going to visit Eva . This is the first time I visit her since I got out of prison .

I am now in the car with Hugo . He is driving me to prison and he will also pick me up .

" It's nothing ... " stated Eva while facing the floor . It's as if she feels guilty .

* sigh * " Tell me who bullied you . " I asked calmly as to reassure her from feeling guilty .

" It's nothing . Don't worry about it . I can handle it . Just tell me what happened after you got out . Is Hugo Li treating you well ? asked Eva trying to change the topic .

I told Eva everything . But she looks shocked . It seems she also heard the romours . Then we continued talking about Hugo and his romours until the guard came saying this is the end of the visit .

" Don't worry . I will come back soon . If anyone bullied you stand up to them . Don't be scared . " I stated encouraging Eva .

" It's fine . I definitely will . " Eva stated while having a bright smile on her face and waving her hand at me .

Then I left with a depressed look on my face .

" She is being bullied , but I can't do anything about it at all . " I thought while sighing .

When I got out of the gate , I saw Hugo waiting for me . Approaching him , I tried to fake a smile as to not worry him . He has nothing to do with all this . But ... he seems to have noticed my depressed face and my face smile .

" What happened with your friend ? You seem depressed . " Hugo asked while having a concerned look on his face .

" It's nothing to worry about . We have to go home now right ? " I asked changing the topic .

" Not yet . Wait a few minutes . " Stated Hugo .

" What are we waiting for ? " I asked .

A few minutes later , We saw the gate opening and .... EVA COMING !!!

" That's what we are waiting for ." Hugo stated while having a sly smile .

" Emma !!! " Shouted Eva while running . " I got out !! They said someone paid the debt , so I have no reason to be imprisoned anymore !! " Eva stated excitedly .

" Did they tell you who !?! " I asked happily .

" They said it's ... HUGO LI !! " Eva stated in amazement .

" What !? " I asked while looking at Hugo .

" She helped you while you were in prison , so I did this to repay her . " Hugo stated while trying to avoid my gaze .

" He seems to be ... BLUSHING !!?! Wow ! He is so cute while he is blushing . " I thought while giggling .

" What's so funny ?! " He asked glaring at me still blushing .

" Nothing . " I stated still giggling .

" Thank you for getting out , sir . " Eva thanked Hugo politely .

" No need to thank me . It was you taking care of Eva all the time while she was in prison , so I am the one who must thank you . Anyway , get in the car , so that I can drive you home . " Hugo stated while opening the car door .

" Okay ! " Eva stated happily while getting in the car .

The moment he turned to me , I hugged him .

" Thank you Hugo ! You are the only one who I can really trust ! " I claimed while hugging him .

" Silly girl . You are my wife . If I don't help you , who will ? " Hugo stated while hugging me back .

Someone who cares about me and the warmth of another person is what I always lacked . How wonderful these feelings are . I hope time can stop in this moment .
